All four of the boys arrived back at Pallet Town and stopped at the entrance. "Well, I'm heading back to Viridian City now. See ya guys!" King said as he walked away. "Bye!" The boys said as they waved goodbye to him. "I'm heading home. It's almost time for my mom to make dinner," Toru said. He turned and walked away as well. "Well Ash, we should go home for today. It's getting dark. See ya," Justin said. They both turned in opposite directions and walked to their homes.

He walked to his house and walked inside. His mother was inside, cooking food. "Hey Mom, I'm home," He said as he walked inside. "Hey sweetie! Go take a shower and then come eat!" She said. He nodded and walked upstairs so he could grab his clothes and shower. Once he finished showering, he walked downstairs and to the kitchen. His mom had already set the table and was eating. He sat down and started eating. "So, has Travon and Bre visited recently?" Ashton asked.

"No. They've been traveling since they left. I haven't seen them in a while and I really miss them," Nicole said. They continued to talk about other things when they heard a knock on the door. "I'll get it," Ashton said as he stood up and walked to the door. He opened and saw Professor Stewart standing at the door. "Professor Stewart? Why are you here? It's dark outside," Ashton asked. "I'm here to tell you some great news!" Professor Stewart said.

Ashton let him in and they both say on the coach. "Oh, Stewart. What a pleasant surprise," Nicole said. "What did you have to tell me? What's the big news?" Ashton asked. "Oh right. Look at this," Professor Stewart said as he reached in his pocket and pulled out a flyer. The flyer read,

"Hoenn Battle Frontier! Battle for the chance to become a champ of the Hoenn Region!"

"The Hoenn Battle Frontier, huh? Does it say when it'll take place?" Ashton asked. "Yep. It'll happen in one month and a half. That'll give you enough time to travel there and collect all the Gym badges! What do you say? Want to go?" Professor Stewart asked. Ashton stood up and grinned. "Of course! This just means another chance to become a Pokemon Master!" Ashton said.

"Oh my, that sounds fun. I'll start packing your stuff for you. You run upstairs and go to sleep so you won't be tired for your journey tomorrow!" Nicole said. "Quick question, did you tell Justin and Toru about this?" Ashton asked. "Yep! Justin said he's going and Toru said he'll be going to watch your matches," Professor Stewart answered. "Right then! Good night Mom! Good night Professor Stewart!" Ashton exclaimed as he ran upstairs and to his room. He changed into his pajamas and laid down and in ten seconds, he was asleep.

Nicole spent all night packing clothes and food and any traveling supplies he might need for the Hoenn Region. The next morning came and the sun shined over Pallet Town, waking up the wild Pokemon and humans. Ashton leaned forward and yawned loudly before he realized he had to get ready. "Today's the day! I'm heading to Hoenn!" Ashton exclaimed. He jumped out of bed and started dressed in his trainer clothes.

Once he was dressed, he brushed his teeth, combed his hair, and ran downstairs. His bag was sitting on the coach almost like it was excited to go to Hoenn too. Ashton put his bag on and ran out the front door. He looked at his neighbors house and saw Mr Andrew walking towards his house. "Oh, Mr Andrew! It's been a while! How'd your trip go?" Ashton asked. "it went well. Looks like you're ready to do some traveling yourself," Mr Andrew said. "Yep! I should get going now! Bye!" Ashton said as he ran down the road.

He ran to the exit of Pallet Town, where Justin was waiting for him. "Hey Justin! You ready to leave?" Ashton asked. "Yep! I can't wait to get to Hoenn," Justin said. "Well then, let's get going!" Ashton said. Ashton and Justin walked out of Pallet Town and to the dock near the Sea. Captain John was waiting for them. Toru and Leaf were on the boat as well. "Hey guys! You finally made it!" Toru said while waving. "Hi guys!" Leaf said with a smile. "Hey guys!" Ashton and Justin said.

"Hey Lads! You ready to head to Hoenn?" Captain John asked. "Yep! I'm so excited!" Ashton exclaimed. He and Justin got on the boat and sat their stuff down. Captain John rang his bell and the boat began to sail off. Ashton and Justin walked to the railings of the boat and watched as they moved further and further from the docks. They saw someone walking towards the dock and they were met with a pleasant surprise.

It was Professor Stewart, King, Nicole, Rosie, and Justin's mom. "Toru! Look! Our parents are here!" Ashton called his friend over. Toru ran beside and saw them. "Good luck son! Show Hoenn how strong you are!" Nicole called out. "Have fun in Hoenn!" Justin's mom said. "Bye Toru!" Rosie called. "Do me proud boys!" Professor Stewart yelled. "Bye guys! I'll watch the Battle Frontier live for you guys!" King called out. The three Pallet Boys grinned and waved to their friends and family. "Bye!" They all yelled. Their moms and friends all waved one last time before they turned and walked away. Ashton, Toru, and Justin all smiled before they walked to the front of the boat and stared at the sea ahead of them. All of them were excited for their new journeys. They'll find new pokemon, new friends, new enemies, and new adventures in the Hoenn Region.

Bonus scene: Ronnie and Mike were currently swimming through the ocean, trying to swim back to land. "I can't believe they sent us flying into the ocean!" Ronnie said angrily. Mike looked over and noticed something. "Um Ronnie," Mike said. "What?" Ronnie asked. Mike pointed to the left. Ronnie looked over and saw a boat coming towards them. "crap! Swim! Swim!" Ronnie yelled. They tried to swim out of the way, but they were too slow. Their clothes were caught on two loose pieces of the wood on the boat, which yanked them and started pulling them along with the boat. "Crap! I'm stuck! The boats moving too fast for me to get unstuck!" Mike shouted. "Why does this always happen to us?!" Ronnie cried as they were pulled along with the boat. Looks like they got an unwanted ticket to the Hoenn Region.

"Hey, did you hear voices just now?" Toru asked. "Hmmm. Maybe it's just the sea," Ashton said. Toru just shrugged and continued to look out onto the sea.
