Three trainers leave Pallet Town and travel across the Kanto and Johto regions. Along the way, they meet lots of friends and enemies and compete in the Kanto Tournament League and the Johto League.
Justin was currently walking down a road which led to a forest near New Bark Town. "Why am I the one who has to do this?" Justin mumbled to himself as he remembered what happened the moment he got back to New Bark Town.
*Flashback*
Justin finally arrived in New Bark Town and began to look around. "No sign of Ash or Okotsu. I must be the first one here," Justin said to himself. He walked to Professor Elm's lab and knocked on the door, but no one answered. Justin knocked on the door a little louder this time, but still didn't get an answer. "Huh. I guess no one's here right now. I guess this means I can go to the shop and get some supplies," Justin said as he walked away from the lab and made his way to the Pokemart.
He got to the shop and walked inside. "Um Excuse me! Are you a Pokemon Trainer?" The Clerk asked Justin. "Yeah, I am," Justin said. "Oh thank goodness. We're in desperate need of apricorns from the nearby forest, but none of our employees have any Pokemon, so we can't protect ourselves in the forest. Would you be kind enough to go into the forest and pick some for us?" The Clerk asked.
Justin was about to say he didn't know what apricorns were, when the Clerk said," Thank you so much!". Justin realized the clerk wouldn't take no for an answer, he turned around and just walked out the store.
*End of Flashback*
Justin finally arrived at the forest and walked in. He looked at all of the bushes and trees, but didn't see anything that looked like an apricorn. Justin walked deeper into the forest. "( What do these things even look like? I wish Okotsu was here. He would definitely know about something like this.)" Justin thought to himself. Suddenly, a snowflake landed on his forehead, knocking him out of his thoughts. "Huh? What was that?" Justin asked.
Another snowflake landed in front of him. "Snow? It's spring, how is it snowing?" Justin asked. Suddenly, more and more snowflakes started falling, which made the ground snowy and the temperature started to drop. "A snowstorm? How did this happen? Maybe it's a Pokemon," Justin said. He decided to walk further into the forest until he saw a blue Pokemon laying in the middle of the path. "What type of Pokemon is that?" Justin asked.
He walked up to it and on further inspection, he saw it was the legendary Dog, Suicune.

"Suicune? I didn't think I'd find a legendary Pokemon here. Are you the one who made the snowstorm?" Justin asked. Suicune didn't answer and instead whimpered in pain. Justin noticed a dart stuck in Suicune's leg. "What is that?" Justin asked as he kneeled next to Suicune. He slowly pulled the dart out, causing Suicune to wince in pain. Suddenly, Justin heard voices. "I think it went this way!" He heard a man say.
Two men wearing green camo and holding a gun came out of the bushes. "Huh? What's a kid doing here?" One of the men asked. "Were you the ones who shot Suicune?" Justin asked angrily. "Yeah, we were. Now how about you step away from that Pokemon," The older man said. "I don't think so! I'm not gonna walk away and let you hurt Suicune!" Justin said. "Very well! You asked for this!" The second hunter said as the two hunters pulled out a PokeBall.
