After two hours of driving through the ocean, Ashton, Justin, and Bill arrived back at Cinnabar Island. They got off the boat and walked to the town. Once they got to the Pokémon Center, they walked in and started talking. "Thanks for letting us go with you Bill. We had lots of fun today," Justin said. Bill smiled. "Of course. It's always nice meeting new people," Bill said. Bill was about to walk out, but he had one more question for the two trainers.

"You guys are gonna compete in the Pokémon League Tournament next month, right?" Bill asked. Ashton and Justin nodded. "Then I'll be rooting for you. I normally don't go to these and just watch them at home, but I'll go as a "you're welcome" for helping your Wartortle the treatment it needed," Bill said. He turned and walked out of the Pokémon Center.

"Well Ash, I'm on my way to face the Cinnabar Island Gym. What are you gonna do?" Justin asked. "I'm gonna go find where we're staying tonight. I could use a rest," Ashton said. Justin nodded and walked out of the Pokémon Center.

Ashton walked up the front desk. "Excuse me, I'm here to pick up my Wartortle," Ashton said to the nurse at the front desk. She nodded and walked to the back. A couple seconds later, she walked out with Wartortle in her arms. "Wartortle! You're ok!" Ashton exclaimed. Wartortle jumped out of the nurse's arms and jumped towards Ashton. It landed on his Shoulder and hugged him. Ashton hugged Wartortle back. "I'm glad to see you're ok, little buddy," Ashton said, rubbing Wartortle's head.

He decided to let Wartortle sit on his shoulder and he walked out of the Pokémon Center. He walked down the street until he saw a hotel. He walked inside and walked up the stairs to the second floor. He walked down the hallway until he heard King and Okotsu's voice through the doors. Ashton opened the door and walked in. Okotsu and King were having a conversation while Pikachu and Treecko were having a arm wrestling competition, but they used their tails instead. Pikachu was winning.

"Hey guys. I'm back," Ashton said, catching their attention. "Ash! Good to see you!" King said. "Yeah man. You've been gone for five hours," Okotsu said. Ashton took off his bag and jacket and sat down in a chair. "Yeah. We got to One Island and me and Justin explored for a bit. He caught five Pokémon while we were there," Ashton said. "Five? Which Pokémon did he catch?" Okotsu asked. "The last one is gonna surprise you. He caught a Vulpix, an Ekans, an Onix, a Cubone, and the Legendary Moltres," Ashton said.

"He caught Moltres?!" Okotsu and King exclaimed. "Yep. He did very well in his battle against Moltres," Ashton said. "That's amazing," Okotsu said. King nodded in agreement. Ashton had a question for them.

"Did you guys beat the gym here?" Ashton asked. "Yeah. We got the volcano badge," King said. "Alright, that's all I needed to know. I'm going to sleep. Good night guys," Ashton said. He took off his shoes and hat. He put his shoes next to his bag and his hat on the nightstand beside his bed. He laid down and fell asleep.

The next morning, he woke up and started getting ready. He saw Justin, King, and Okotsu we're still asleep. Once he was dressed, he walked out of the room and into the hallway. "Good Morning, Ash. What are you doing up so late?" Ashton heard someone ask. It was Red. "Oh Good Morning, Red. I'm on my way to train my Pokémon. What about you?" Ashton replied. "I'm going out to find new Pokémon data for the Pokédex," Red said.

"I see. Well good luck Red. I'll see you later," Ashton said. "Yeah, you too," Red said. Ashton turned and walked down the stairs, waving at Red. He walked outside and saw Blue standing near the entrance. "Blue? I didn't think I'd run into you. I just got done talking to Red," Ashton said.

"Hey Ash. I'm actually leaving the island now," Blue said. "Really?" Ashton asked. Blue nodded. "I already got the badge here. I came here to try to catch the Legendary Birds, but you and your friends beat me to the chase," Blue said.
