Three trainers leave Pallet Town and travel across the Kanto and Johto regions. Along the way, they meet lots of friends and enemies and compete in the Kanto Tournament League and the Johto League.
It was early in the morning and our heros were currently getting ready for the day. Ashton was finishing putting his clothes on, Okotsu was combing his hair, and Justin was making breakfast. Once everyone was ready, they ate their breakfast and walked out of the hotel.
"Hey Blastoise. I'll let you battle since it's been a while," Ashton said. "Blast!" Blastoise said happily. "I should let Venusaur battle as well," Justin said.
"Guess I should let Sceptile battle as well," Okotsu said. They kept walking down the street and eventually saw the gym. "Yes, we made it! Let's go win our next badge!" Ashton exclaimed. They all walked inside the gym.
Inside, they saw Jasmine waiting for them. "There you four are. I've been waiting for you to come challenge me," Jasmine said. "We're here now! We're gonna win and get your badge!" Okotsu said.
"Now which one of you will battle me first?" Jasmine asked. "I'll do it! I've been wanting to battle you since I found out you were a gym leader!" Ashton said, stepping forward.
"Ok! Before we start, let me tell you that I use the Steel type. It's the most recently discovered Type and I've mastered it! So I wont be an easy trainer to battle!" Jasmine said, preparing a PokeBall. "I figured! I'll have you know that I'm also a tough trainer!" Ashton said, also preparing a PokeBall.
"Ok! Let's do this Magnemite!" Jasmine said, throwing her PokeBall forward. "We're gonna win this, Phanpy!" Ashton said, throwing his PokeBall forward. "Magnemite, let's start this off with your Electro Ball attack!" Jasmine said.
Magnemite made a ball of electricity and shot it at Phanpy. Phanpy managed to jump back, dodging the attack. "Phanpy, use Rollout!" Ashton said. Phanpy ran at Magnemite and jumped into the air. It landed and curled into a ball, rolling at Magnemite. Phanpy slammed into Magnemite, sending it flying back and stopping in front of Jasmine. "Magnemite, Sonic boom!" Jasmine called out.
Magnemite shot a shockwave at Phanpy. The attack hit and made Phanpy slide back. "Phanpy, use Bulldoze!" Ashton said.
Phanpy ran at Magnemite, with it's head down, and slammed into Magnemite. "Good! Now use Stomp!" Ashton said. Phanpy jumped into the air and landed on top of Magnemite, slamming it into the ground.
"Magnemite, Spark!" Jasmine said. Magnemite generated lightning from it's body, making Phanpy jump off. "Now use Thunderbolt!" Jasmine said.
Magnemite covered it's body in electricity and shot a bolt at Phanpy. The attack hit, but did no damage to Phanpy. "What?!" Jasmine exclaimed.
"Phanpy is a ground type, so Electric Type moves have no effect on it! Now let's end this! Phanpy, use Rollout one more time!" Ashton said. Phanpy curled into a ball and rolled really fast towards Magnemite. It slammed into Magnemite, sending the Steel-Electric type flying and crashing in front of Jasmine.
She called it back to it's Pokeball and grabbed her last PokeBall. "Let's do this Steelix!" Jasmine said. She threw her PokeBall, sending out Steelix.
"I battled a Steelix back in my exhibition matche at the Kanto Tournament League, so I know how strong they are! Phanpy, return!" Ashton said.
"Phanpy!" Phanpy said. It turned around and ran back to Ashton. "You did good, little buddy," Ashton said. He rubbed it's head and called it back to it's Pokeball. "Ok, you're up Blastoise!" Ashton said. "Blast!" Blastoise said determinedly.
It walked to the battlefield and faced Steelix. "Let's start! Blastoise, use Aqua Punch!" Ashton said. Blastoise covered its fist in a watery aura and ran at Steelix. Blastoise punched Steelix. "Steelix, Slam it!" Jasmine said. Steelix grabbed Blastoise with it's tail and lifted into the air. "Blast?" It asked confusedly. Steelix slammed it into the ground really hard.
"Great job! Now use Bind!" Jasmine said. Steelix grabbed Blastoise with it's tail again and started squeezing it. "B- Blastoise!" Blastoise said in pain. "(What do I do? Blastoise can't break out of that!)" Ashton thought. He closed his eyes and started thinking of a plan.
Blastoise was struggling to get out, but couldn't. "Whats Ash planning?" Okotsu asked. "I don't know, but surely it's something smart," Justin said. Ashton kept thinking and an idea appeared in his head. "I got it! Blastoise, use Water Sport!" Ashton called out. Blastoise started spraying water into the air, which made it start raining about it. The water made Blastoise's body wet, allowing it to slip out of Steelix's tail bind.
"Good job! Now use Water Gun!" Ashton said. Blastoise shot a beam of water at Steelix, making it fall on it's back. "This isn't over! Steelix, use Steel Tail!" Jasmine said. Steelix lifted it's tail and slammed it into Blastoise, making it roll back. "Blast," Blastoise groaned in pain.
"Blastoise, put all your power into it and use Hydro Pump!" Ashton shouted. Blastoise struggled to get up and charged a beam of water. It blasted a huge beam of water, which damaged Steelix a lot and made it faint. "Oh, I guess I lost," She said, calling Steelix back to it's Pokeball.
"Well, according to the league rules, I have to give you the Mineral Badge," Jasmine said, walking up to Ashton and handing him a badge.

Ashton accepted the badge and put it in his bag. Then he walked up to Blastoise and put it's arm over his shoulder, helping it walk. "You did good buddy," Ashton said. He walked over to Justin and Okotsu. "Ok, the next trainer please step forward and let's begin our match," Jasmine said. Justin stepped forward and began his match. Justin used Venusaur and Totodile, which evolved into a Croconaw.
Once Justin got his badge, Okotsu stepped forward and used Sceptile and Chikorita, who also evolved into a Bayleef. "You all battled well and proofed you're both powerful and kind trainers. I wish you well on your future journeys," Jasmine said. Ashton, Justin, and Okotsu all walked out of the gym and made their way down the road leading out of Olivine City. "So what's our next stop?" Okotsu asked.
Ashton pulled out his Pokegear and looked at the map. "It says here that our next stop is Mahogany Town. That's also where the Lake of Rage is," Ashton said. "The Lake of Rage and the next Gym. I can't wait," Justin said. "And it's really close by, so it'll only take us ten minutes to get there," Ashton said. "Well what are we waiting for. Let's get going!" Okotsu said. They all kept walking down the path that led to Mahogany Town.
