"Well here we are guys! Mount Moon!" Ashton said as they got to the entrance. "How long will it take to get through it?" King asked. "About ten minutes," Justin answered. They all walked inside the cave. "It's dark in here," King said.
Ashton squinted his eyes, trying to see better, but he still couldn't see. "How about we get King's Pikachu to light up the cave," Justin suggested, pointing to Pikachu, who was on Kings shoulder. "We can't. My Pikachu can't use any moves for the next two hours," King said. "I could use my Charmander," Ashton said. "You have a Charmander?" Justin asked. Ashton nodded and sent it out. The flame on Charmander tail let them see better. "Why's it golden?" Justin asked. "I don't know. It's just like this. It's super strong too," Ashton said.
Now that they had light, the three boys walked through the cave. "Hey what's that?" King asked, pointing to something. It was a small round Pokemon with pointed ears and a swirly tail.
"I'll catch it!" King exclaimed. He reached in his pocket and pulled out a Pokeball. "How will you weaken it? Pikachu can't use any attacks," Ashton asked. "I don't know, but Im confident I can catch it anyway," King said, throwing the ball at the Pokémon. The ball absorbed the Pokémon and shook three times before glowing green. King started smiling. "Alright! I caught my first Pokémon!" King exclaimed. "That was your first catch?" Justin asked. "Yeah! I started my journey in Viridian City and didn't catch any Pokémon. I was barely able to beat Brock with Pikachu here," King said. "Hey where is Pikachu?" Ashton asked. King was confused , but when he went to feel his head and Pikachu wasn't there, he started to panic.
"Where's Pikachu?!" He exclaimed. They heard a huge thud behind them. They turned and saw two faces that were familiar to Ashton. It was Ronnie and Mike. Ronnie had tripped and hit the ground. The three trainers looked at the Team Rocket members in confusion. "Run Mike! We've been caught!" Ronnie yelled. They both started running away. In Mikes arms was Pikachu. "Hey! Get back here!"Ashton yelled. The three trainers started chasing them. "They're fast! Who even are these guys?" Justin asked. "They're two Pokémon thieves I met in Viridian Forest! They tried to steal Torus Charmander, but we beat them!" Ashton yelled. They looked ahead and saw the exit. "Hey look! We made it to the other side!" Ashton yelled.
They all ran out and continued the chase. "This is taking too long! They might get away!" King yelled. "Don't worry! I got this!" Justin yelled. He reached in his pocket and threw a Pokeball. "Go Spearow!" He yelled.
"Spearow, grab that Pikachu from them!" Justin yelled, pointing at Mike and Ronnie. Spearow flew ahead and sat on top of Ronnie's head. "Huh? What's this?" Ronnie asked. He tried to swat it off, but Spearow just jumped to Mikes head. It started pecking Mike in the head hard. "Ow! That hurts!" Mike yelled. His grip loosened, giving Spearow the chance to grab Pikachu. It grabbed Pikachu and flew back to Justin. "Thanks Spearow," Justin said, calling it back to its Pokeball.
Mike and Ronnie stopped running and faced the trainers. "They have the Pikachu!"Mike yelled. "Now get out here!" Ashton yelled. They were about to grab their Pokeballs when suddenly, a huge gust of wind hit them. Justin had called Spearow back out and made it use Gust. Mike and Ronnie were sent flying and landed in a ditch. "You brats! We'll be back! Just you wait!" Ronnie yelled.
"Whatever," Ashton said as the three trainers walked down the road. "Hey look. We're at Cerulean City," Justin said, pointing at the entrance. At the entrance waiting for them was Toru. "Hey Toru," Ashton and Justin said. "Hey guys. Who's this?" He asked, pointing at King. "My names King. Who are you?" King asked. "This is our friend Toru. He left Pallet Town at the same time as us," Ashton said. "How's your Charmander doing?"
"He's doing good. He's even gotten stronger and evolved," Toru said, calling it out.
"It's a Charmeleon now," Toru said. "I got a Charmander now! Look," Ashton said, pulling out the golden Pokeball. He called Charmander out. "Woah! It's golden!" Toru exclaimed. "Yeah. Hey have you battled this cities gym yet?" Ashton asked. "Yep!" Toru said, showing the badge.
"Based on the design, I'd say it's a water type gym," Justin said. "I won't tell you guys. All I'll say is good luck guys," Toru said. He turned and started walking away. "I'm going to Vermillion City guys. See you later!" Toru said, waving. "Bye!" They all said.
"Well I'm gonna go let my Pokémon rest and then train them up," Ashton said. "Me too. Are you gonna battle the gym leader?" King asked Justin. "Yeah sure. I'll wait for you guys there to watch your battle. See you later guys," Justin said. The two younger trainers nodded and they all walked separate directions. They all were excited to battle the gym leader.

(Hey guys, sorry this episode was so short. I had lots of ideas for the episode, but I couldn't decide how to use them so I just went with this idea.
Bonus scene: Ashton and King were trying to find a hotel to rest at when Ashton realized something. "Me and Justin never got to catch any Pokémon at Mount Moon," He said in disappointment. King patted his back. "It's ok. You'll catch some soon," King said. Ashton smiled at his friends reassurance and they kept walking.Bonus scene: earlier when Ashton and his friends met up with Toru, Ronnie and Mike saw them and snuck into some nearby bushes. "Let's listen so we can hear where they go next," Ronnie said. Mike didn't see any reason why they should follow the kids, but he crouched into the bushes anyway.
They saw Ashton reach into his pocket and pull out a golden PokeBall. "Did he paint it golden or something?" Ronnie asked. Ashton called out Charmander and the two grunts were surprised. "What!? That Charmander! It's golden!" Ronnie said. "It'll probably sell for a lot. We have to steal it and give it to the boss," Mike said. Ronnie nodded and the two grunts got out of the bushes.
"Let's go, Mike," Ronnie said. Mike nodded and the two grunts walked away.
