Episode 71: The Amazing Kimono Girls!

"so where's the gym at? I wanna get my third gym badge!" Ashton said with an excited grin on his face. "Haha. Calm down man, we'll get that gym badge," Justin said. "Yeah. I wanna go watch that show that I won a ticket for!" Okotsu said. "Oh yeah! The Kimono Girls, right? Let's go do it!" Ashton said as they continued down the street.

They walked into the middle of the city and got to a huge building. There was a sign that said it was the Ecruteak City Theater. "Is this where the Kimono Girls show is gonna be?" Justin asked. Ashton pulled out his Pokegear and read the information about Ecruteak City. "Hmm. It says here that the Theater is gonna be showing the Kimono Girls, so yeah, this is the right place!" Ashton said.

"Great! Then let's go in!" Okotsu said. They walked inside and lots of people were in the front lobby. "Woah. I guess the Kimono Girls must be really popular," Ashton said. "You're right Ash! They're the most popular performers across Johto!" They heard someone say. It was a familiar face and Ashton's best friend, Toru.

"Hi Toru and Leaf. I didn't expect you guys to be here!" Ashton said. "Hello Ash. It's a Surprise seeing you three here as well," Leaf said. "So did you guys get a ticket as well?" Toru asked. "Yep! The ticket's right here!" Okotsu said, pulling the ticket out of his pocket. "There's only one ticket though," Toru said. "This is a VIP ticket which means I can bring as many guests as I want. So I've decided to bring my close friends and traveling buddies Ashton, Justin, and Blastoise," Okotsu said. "No surprise there. Say Ash, who's that Pokemon that Blastoise is carrying?" Toru asked.

"Oh! This is Togepi! It just hatched recently and I've been taking really good care of it!" Ashton said with a proud look on his face. "It's so adorable!" Leaf said as she picked Togepi up and started hugging it. "I know right!" Ashton said.

"Well anyway guys, we should hurry up and go get our seats. The show is about to start soon," Justin said. "Ok! Let's go guys!" Ashton said. The trainers handed their tickets to the ticket lady and went into the theater room. They got their seats in the front so they could see the show easier. "Man I can't wait! This show is gonna be so good if it's from the best performers in the Johto Region!" Okotsu said. "Me neither! I've heard the Kimono Girls have never had a bad show!" Toru said. "I've heard the Kimono Girls are extremely beautiful as well!" Leaf said.

Suddenly the lights turned off and a spotlight shined onto the stage. Five women wearing Kimonos walked on stage and faced the crown. They bowed and started doing synchronized dances with each other. Their moves were smooth and elegant and the girls were extremely calm. "Wow! Their moves are impressive!" Ashton said. One of the girls heard Ashton and winked at him. "Woah dude! She winked at you!" Justin whispered.

Meanwhile, on the floor above the stage, two people were making an evil plan. It was Ronnie and Mike. "So Ronnie, if I'm correct, the Kimono Girls should be finished with their show and from what I've heard, all five of them have powerful Pokemon! If we can steal them, we can give them to the boss and make some money!" Mike said. "That's a great plan, but how do we get down from here in time. If we try to run down there, they'll be gone by the time we make it," Ronnie said.

"That's easy. We'll just cut a whole in the roof and drop down!" Mike said, grabbing a hacksaw. "That's a great idea!" Ronnie said.

Meanwhile, in the Theater, the Kimono Girls were finishing up the show. They all did one last dance and bowed to the crowd, causing them to cheer. "That was amazing! You weren't wrong about them Toru!" Ashton said. Suddenly, a piece of the roof fell down behind the Kimono Girls, catching their and the crowd's attention. Ronnie and Mike jumped down and threw devices at them that wrapped around the girls, immobilizing them.

"It's Team Rocket!" Okotsu exclaimed. "Hello girls! We're Team Rocket and we're here for your Pokemon. If you're smart, you'll hand them over and we'll be untie you," Ronnie said. "Never! Let us go, you brutes!" One of the Kimono Girls said. "We have to do something!" Leaf said. She turned and saw Ashton and Toru were gone. "Huh?" She said. "Hey Team Rocket! Leave them alone!" Ashton shouted, catching the entire Theater's attention. "Yeah! Those girls did nothing to you!" Toru shouted.
