Episode 110: Goodbye Ash! A Close Friend Leaves!

A week has passed since the giant Rhydon Robot was defeated. Ashton and Justin have been training their Pokemon hard since then. Toru has been helping them whenever he wasn't busy with Pokemon HQ work or interviews. Team Rocket hadn't been doing as much crime as usual, probably because most of their members were arrested after the incident.

Ashton and Justin were currently training at the huge field near Pallet Town when Professor Stewart walked up to them. "Hey boys! How's your training going?" He asked. "Our training is going well! Our Pokemon are definitely making some progress!" Ashton said. "That's good to hear. Say, do you boys know where your friend Okotsu is?" Professor Stewart asked. "No. We havent seen him all day," Justin said. "I see. When you see him, can you bring him to my lab?" Professor Stewart asked before walking away.

"What do you think Professor Stewart needs him for?" Ashton asked. "Maybe Okotsu did something bad," Justin said. "Nah, Okotsu's too nice to do something bad," Ashton said. "Well, let's go look for him," Justin said. They called their Pokemon back to their PokeBalls and headed towards Pallet Town. They got to the town and began to look around. They look at fhe library, the local restaurants, and even the entrance, but Okotsu wasnt there.

They walked to Ashton's house to take a break. "Man, we can't find him anywhere," Ashton said as he and Justin sat down on the couch, where Okotsu was sitting. "Who are you guys looking for?" Okotsu asked. "We're trying to find Okotsu," Justin said as he opened a bottle of water and drank it. The room was silent for a moment before Justin looked at Okotsu.

"Oh, he's right here," Justin said. "So, what do you guys need me for?" Okotsu asked. "Professor Stewart needs you at his lab for something," Ashton said. "Oh really? Ok, let's go then," Okotsu said. They all stood up and walked out of Ashton's house. They walked to the professor's lab and knocked on the door before walking in. They walked to the back of the lab, where Professor Stewart was eating some food.

"Hey professor Stewart. We brought Okotsu," Justin said. "Hi professor," Okotsu said. "Ah Okotsu. I've just gotten a call from someone in the Unova region. It's your Mom," Professor Stewart said. "Really? What did she say?" Okotsu asked. "She's asking for you to talk to her. She's giving you a great opportunity if you want to become a great trainer and Breeder," Professor Stewart said as he handed him the phone. Okotsu grabbed the phone and Professor Stewart stood up and motioned for Ashton and Justin to leave.

"We should leave him alone. Its probably private," Professor Stewart said. The front door of the lab opened up and King and Toru walked in. "Hey guys! We saw you walk in here, so we came to see whats up," Toru said. "What's up Champions. We're here because Okotsu got in important phonecall," Ashton said. A couple seconds later, Okotsu walked out.

"Hey guys. I'm gonna tell you what the phone call was about, but first, let's go somewhere," Okotsu said. The other boys looked at each other and just shrugged. They said good bye to Professor Stewart and walked out of the lab. They walked out of Pallet Town and down a familiar road. A few seconds later, they arrived at the dock near the Sea. Captain John was on his boat at the dock, fishing when he noticed the boys.

"Well, if it isn't my favorite lads! Whatre you here for?" Captain John asked. "Well, we're here because-" Before Okotsu could finish his sentence, a smoke ball came out of nowhere and exploded right next to the boys.

They heard laughter and two figures walked out of the smoke. It was Ronnie and Mike. "You two!" Ashton said. "Hello brats. We've returned! You think you could get away with almost putting Team Rocket out of business?! Well think again!" Ronnie said. "Hand over your Pokemon! Or else!" Mike said as he and Ronnie sent out Arcanine and Poliwrath. Ashton and Justin were about to send out their own Pokemon, but Okotsu stopped them.

"Guys. I wanna show you how strong I've gotten since the Johto League," Okotsu said as he pulled out a PokeBall. He threw it forward and sent out Sceptile. "Only one of you are fighting? Big mistake!" Ronnie said. "Sceptile, use Leaf Storm!" Okotsu shouted. It pointed its tail at Arcanine and Poliwrath and shot off a huge ball of leaves. The ball of leaves flew at Arcanine and Poliwrath and exploded, making a huge tornado of leaves. The tornado moved towards Ronnie and Mike and sucked them into it. "W-What?!" Mike shouted.

They were blasted into the sky with their Pokemon following after them. "Oh come on! They didn't even let us battle!" Ronnie shouted. "Man, the author is lazy," Mike mumbled. "What?" Ronnie asked. "Nothing. Anyway," Mike said. "We're blasting off again!" They both yelled as they fell towards the ocean.

"Wow! You're so strong!" King said. Okotsu smiled and faced the dock. "guys. I have something important to tell you," Okotsu said. He then turned to face them. "I'm leaving Johto and going to Unova," Okotsu said. Everyone gasped. "You are?" Toru asked. Okotsu nodded. "I've been given an opportunity to study Pokemon breeding with my mom. Once I pass the classes, I can become an official Pokemon Breeder," Okotsu said.

"That's great!" Ashton said. Everyone looked at him with shock. "Why's that great? We might not see him again," Toru said. "That means hes a step closer to achieving his dream!" Ashton said. Everyone realized Ashton was right and smiled. "So, I should get going guys. I loved every moment I was with you guys. You guys are the greatest friends I've ever had," Okotsu said. He walked towards his friends and hugged them. Tears of joy rolled down his face. He let go of his friends and walked to the dock. "Captain John, how long does it take to get to Unova?" Okotsu asked.

" a few hours if I sail fast," Captain John said. "Then can you take me there?" Okotsu asked. Captain John nodded and threw down a ladder. Okotsu climbed up the ladder and got on the boat. "Right then! We're sailing off to Unova!" Captain John said. He rang a bell and the boat began to sail off. Okotsu ran to the edge of the boat facing the dock and waved. "Bye guys! I'll miss you so much! Thank you for everything!" He shouted as he waved.

"Bye! Justin shouted. "Good luck with your breeder work!" Toru shouted. "We won't forget you either!" King called out. "See ya Okotsu!" Ashton shouted.

"If you guys ever get the chance, come visit Unova!" Okotsu yelled. All the boys gave a thumbs up and turned to head back to Pallet Town. It was going to be hard getting used to not having Okotsu around, but they knew they were. All of them were happy that Okotsu was leaving to complete his goal and it motivated them to keep going with their own.

"I'll become a Pokemon Master!" Ashton thought.

"I'll travel the entire world!" Justin thought.

"I'll become a great Champion!" Toru thought.

"I'll become one of the Greatest trainers alive!" King thought.

All the boys smiled as they walked back to Pallet Town.
