Three trainers leave Pallet Town and travel across the Kanto and Johto regions. Along the way, they meet lots of friends and enemies and compete in the Kanto Tournament League and the Johto League.
Okotsu walked through the gate and made his way to the Battle Area. He was a little nervous, but he wouldn't let that stop him from battling in his match. He walked out of the gate and to the stadium. He got to the Battle Area and saw Jason waiting for him on the opposite side.
"I know you! You fought against Ash in his second exhibition match!" Okotsu said. Jason nodded. "That was me! Ashton's way stronger than I thought!" Jason said. "Yeah, he is! I traveled with him for a month and I've seen how strong he can be!" Okotsu said.
The judge walked to the Battle Area to start the match. "Hello everyone! This is the last match for the day and then we'll continue the rest of the tournament tomorrow! For this battle, we have a trainer from the Unoava Region, Okotsu! Battling against him is the trainer from the Johto Region, Jason! A battle between Regions! This should be interesting to watch!" The judge said.
"Now, how many Pokemon will each of you be using?" The judge said. Jason and Okotsu both put up three fingers. "Right! Then both trainers send out their Pokemon and begin the match!" The judge said. Okotsu and Jason grabbed a PokeBall and threw it forward. Okotsu sent out a Hypno and Jason sent out his Jolteon.
"Jolteon, use Lightning Tackle!" Jason yelled, starting the match. Jolteon ran at Hypno and lightning covered it's body. "Hypno, use Psychic!" Okotsu yelled. Hypno raised its hand and a pink aura surrounded Jolteon. Hypno slammed Jolteon into the ground with it's Telekinesis. "Now use Psycho Cut!" Okotsu yelled. Hypno ran at Jolteon and swung its pendant around.
Hypno covered the pendant in Psychic energy and cut Jolteon with it. "Jolteon, use Thunder!" Jason yelled. Jolteon covered it's body in lightning and shot a giant bolt of lightning at Hypno. Hypno was hit by the attack and was sent sliding back. "Hypno, use Zen Headbutt!" Okotsu yelled.
Hypno jumped up and ran headfirst at Jolteon. A pink aura surrounded Hypno's head. Hypno jumped at Jolteon and slammed it's head into Jolteon. "Jolteon, use Double Team!" Jason shouted. Jolteon ran around Hypno really fast, making it look like there was a bunch of Jolteon's running around. Hypno tried to see which one was real, but couldn't. "Now use Quick Attack!" Jason said.
Using Hypno's confusion, Jolteon jumped at Hypno and slammed it's body into the Psychic type. Hypno slid in front of Okotsu. "Hypno, hit it with your pendant!" Okotsu said. Hypno ran at Jolteon, swung it's pendant, and hit Jolteon with it, sending Jolteon sliding in front of Jason. Jolteon fell on its side and fainted. Jason called Jolteon back to it's Pokeball and grabbed another.
Jason threw his next PokeBall forward. He sent out a Haunter. "Haunter, use Shadow Ball!" Jason yelled. Haunter made a ball of dark energy and threw it at Hypno. Hypno tried to catch the ball with telekinesis, but couldn't and was hit by the attack. "Haunted, use Sucker Punch!" Jason said.
Haunter turned invisible and started flying around Hypno. Haunter flew at Hypno and punched him in the face. "Hypno, use Psycho Cut!" Okotsu said. Hypno covered it's pendant in Psychic energy and swung it at Haunter. Haunted dodged the pendant and punched Hypno, causing it to faint.
Okotsu called Hypno back to it's Pokeball and grabbed another one. "Go Slowbro!" Okotsu yelled, throwing the next PokeBall forward.
A pink Pokemon with a shell like creature chewing on it's tail came out of the PokeBall.
"Slowbro, use Water Bullet!" Okotsu yelled. Slowbro started shooting small droplets at Haunter. The water hit Haunter, damaging it. "Now use Psychic Shock!" Okotsu shouted. Slowbro concentrated and shot waves of Psychic energy at Haunter. "Haunted, block it!" Jason yelled. Haunter tried to block it, but the attack was too powerful. Haunted was damaged a lot and fainted.
Jason called Haunter back and grabbed his last PokeBall. "Go Marowak!" Jason yelled, throwing the PokeBall. "Slowbro, use Water Gun!" Okotsu yelled. Slowbro shot water at Marowak. "Marowak, dodge and use Bone Club!" Jason yelled. Marowak jumped out of the way of the Water Gun attack and jumped at Slowbro. Marowak slammed the bone into Slowbro's head.
Slowbro fell on it's back and fainted. Okotsu called Slowbro back and threw another PokeBall. "Go Electrode!" Okotsu yelled. A yellow and red Pokemon that looked like an upside down PokeBall.

"Wow! He has so many Pokemon I've never seen!" Ashton exclaimed. "He caught some of them in the Safari Zone and trained them at Viridian City," King said.
"Electrode, use Spark!" Okotsu yelled. Electrode covered it's body in lightning and shot a bolt at Marowak. Marowak used the bone to knock the bolt out of it's way. "Marowak, use Bone Club again!" Jason yelled. Marowak jumped at Electrode and slammed it's bone into it, sending it rolling back.
"Electrode, use Rollout!" Okotsu yelled. Electrode started spinning really fast and rolled at Marowak. Electrode hit Marowak, sending the ground type Pokemon flying back. "Marowak, use Bone-arang!" Jason shouted. (I have no idea how to spell it lol.)
Marowak threw the bone at Electrode. Electrode dodged the bone, but then the bone came back around and hit Electrode in it's back. Marowak ran past Electrode and grabbed it's bone, then jumped back. "Marowak, use Bone Slam!" Jason yelled. Marowak jumped at Electrode and slammed the bone into Electrode.
"Electrode, let's end this! Use Electro Zone and release!" Okotsu shouted. Electrode released a bunch of electricity from it's body. The lightning hit Marowak, paralyzing it. Electrode shot all the electricity out, damaging Marowak a lot and causing it to faint.
"The winner of the final match is Okotsu! Okotsu progresses to the next round!" The judge announced. The crowd cheered loudly. "I knew he could do!" Ashton exclaimed.
Okotsu walked up to Jason and stuck his hand out. "You did very good, Jason. Good match," Okotsu said. Jason smiled and shook Okotsu's hand. Both trainers turned and walked out of the arena. Okotsu grinned brightly, happy that he got to progress to the next round.
