Episode 47: King Vs Eric!

King and Eric arrived at the stadium and walked to the Battle Area. The judge walked on stage. "Welcome everyone to the final match of the second round! Battling in the battle is the trainer from Pallet Town, Eric! The trainer who's gonna battle him is a trainer from Viridian City, King! Are the two of you ready?! The judge asked. King and Eric nodded. "Good! Then both of you send out your first Pokemon and start the battle!" The judge said.

King and Eric had determined looks on their faces as they grabbed their first PokeBall. They both threw it forward. King sent out Hitmonlee and Eric sent out a Pokemon that looked like three Magnemites stuck together.

"Hitmonlee, use Mega Kick!" King shouted. Hitmonlee rushed at Magneton and jumped into the air. Hitmonlee winded it's foot back and delivered a strong kick, sending Magneton flying back. "Magneton, use Electro Ball!" Eric said.

Magneton used all it's magnets to make a ball of electricity and shot it at Hitmonlee. Hitmonlee couldn't jumped out of the way, so it raised it's leg to block the attack. Hitmonlee managed to remain standing, but the attack left burns all over it's body. "Hitmonlee, use Flame Kick!" King shouted.

Hitmonlee ran and jumped at Magneton. It's leg set on fire and it kicked Magneton, making it crash into the ground. Magneton tried to get up, but couldn't. Magneton fainted. Eric called it back to it's Pokeball and grabbed another. "Don't fail me! Go Dodrio!" Eric yelled, throwing the PokeBall forward. Eric's Dodrio came out and squawked loudly.

"Hitmonlee, use Kick Barrage!" King shouted. Hitmonlee jumped above Dodrio and started kicking it over and over. "Dodrio, get back and use Tri-Attack!" Eric yelled. Dodrio jumped back and shot fire, ice, and lightning at Hitmonlee. Hitmonlee couldn't block this attack and was sent sliding back. "Hitmonlee, use Spinning Kick!" King shouted.

Hitmonlee jumped above Dodrio again and started spinning really fast. "Dodrio, try to dodge and use Drill Peck!" Eric said. Hitmonlee tried to land it's kick, but Dodrio jumped back, causing Hitmonlee to kick the ground. Dodrio ran at Hitmonlee and delivered really fast pecks from it's three beaks. Hitmonlee fell to the ground and fainted. King called it back to it's Pokeball and grabbed another one. He threw it forward and Golem came out.

"Dodrio, use Steel Peck!" Eric yelled. Dodrio put all it's heads together and it's three beaks turned into steel. Dodrio jumped at Golem and prepared to deliver a peck attack. "Golem, Harden!" King yelled.

Golem clenched it's body and it got harder. Dodrio pecked Golem, but it's attack did no damage. Dodrio jumped back before Golem could counter attack. "Dodrio, use Hyper Beam!" Eric said.

Dodrio opened all three of it's beaks and threw small beams shot out and formed into one small beam of light. The attack hit Golem, damaging it. "Golem, use Rock Throw!" King said. Golem punched the ground and grabbed a chunk of stone. Golem ran at Dodrio and threw it at the Flying type. Dodrio couldn't dodge the attack and was damaged a lot. "Now use Boulder Bash!" King shouted. Golem grabbed two chunks of stone and ran at Dodrio. Golem jumped at Dodrio and slammed the two boulders into Dodrio, causing it to faint.

Eric called Dodrio back and grabbed his next PokeBall. "Go Gyarados! Show them all you've got!" Eric yelled, throwing his third PokeBall forward. Gyarados came out and roared loudly, making Golem and King a little nervous. "Golem, use Rock Throw again!" King shouted. Golem grabbed another chunk of stone and threw it at Gyarados. The stone chunk hit Gyarados in the face, causing it to roar in pain.

"Gyarados, use Hydro Pump!" Eric shouted. Gyarados opened it's mouth and shot a huge beam of water at Golem. Golem jumped back, barely avoiding the attack. "Golem, use Mega Punch!" King shouted. Golem jumped into the air towards Gyarados and covered it's fist in an orange aura. "Gyarados, dodge and use Aqua Tail!" Eric shouted
