Three trainers leave Pallet Town and travel across the Kanto and Johto regions. Along the way, they meet lots of friends and enemies and compete in the Kanto Tournament League and the Johto League.
After ten minutes of walking, our heros arrived at the small town named Mahogany Town. "Here we are! Mahogany Town!" Ashton said. They walked into the town and noticed all the people were whispering to each other.
"Wonder what that's about," Justin said. A kid who ran by heard Justin and walked to him. "It's the red Gyarados," The kid said. "The red Gyarados?" Ashton, Justin, and Okotsu asked confusedly. "The Red Gyrados. It appeared at the Lake of Rage and it's all everyone is talking about," The kid said.
"A Red Gyarados sounds cool. Let's go check it out!" Ashton exclaimed. "You're going to check it out?" The kid asked. "Yep! A Red Gyarados sounds like it's a rare find, so I wanna see it with my own eyes!" Ashton exclaimed.
"If you want to go to the lake of rage, it's over in that direction, past that gate," The kid said, pointing to the direction. "Thanks kid," Justin said as the four of the all walked in the direction the kid pointed to. They got to the gate and pushed on it, opening it. They walked through and made their way to the lake. Once they got there, they saw nothing but a calm lake with Magikarp and Goldeen swimming in it. "I don't see a Red Gyarados. Maybe this town is full of crazy people," Okotsu said.
They waited for a bit and nothing happened. "Let's go guys. Maybe it's gone," Justin said. Suddenly, water shot from the lake, causing the sky to turn dark and it started raining. "Huh?" They all asked, turning around. The water started getting waving and all of a sudden, something shot out of the water. It was the Red Gyarados!

"It's the Red Gyrados!" Ashton exclaimed with stars in his eyes. The Gyarados roared loudly and noticed the trainers. It roared loudly and charged a beam of water in it's mouth, confusing the boys and Blastoise. Ashton released what it was about to do. "It's about to use Hydro Pump!" Ashton shouted.
They all started screaming and Blastoise jumped in front of them to shield them from the blast. Red Gyarados was about to shoot the Hydro Pump when suddenly, someone yelled an attack. "Dragonite, use Hyper Beam!" Someone shouted.
A beam of light flew from above them, hitting the Red Gyarados. A Dragonite landed in front of them and someone got off it's back. The person called Dragonite back to it's Pokeball and turned around. "You managed to almost win the Kanto Tournament League, but a wild Gyarados scares you. You confuse me sometimes, Ash," the person said. Ashton, Justin, and Okotsu's eyes all widened. The person took their hat off, revealing them to be the Kanto Champion and their Kanto Traveling Partner, King.
"King!" They all exclaimed. "Hey guys! How are you guys doing?" King asked. "We're doing great. Almost got killed, but we're doing great," Ashton said. "So what are you guys doing here? I take it you didn't come here to get killed by a Gyarados," King said. "Well we came to check the Gyarados, but we didn't think it would attack," Justin said.
"Alright. I'm gonna catch it guys. Let's do this Pikachu," King said. "Pikapi!" Pikachu said, hopping off King's shoulder. The Red Gyarados got up and roared loudly. "Pikachu, use Volt Tackle!" King shouted. Pikachu covered it's body in lightning and jumped at Gyarados. Pikachu slammed into Red Gyarados, damaging it.
"Gyarados roared loudly and Pikachu jumped off of Red Gyarados and landed in front of King. Gyarados charged another beam of water and shot it at Pikachu. Pikachu jumped into the air, dodging the attack. "Pikachu, use Thunder!" King called out. Pikachu covered it's body in lightning and shot a giant bolt of lightning at Red Gyarados.
The lightning bolt shocked Gyarados and made it fall over. King pulled out a PokeBall and threw it at Red Gyarados. The ball absorbed it and shook three times before glowing green. King walked up to the PokeBall and put it in his pocket. "Great job Pikachu," King said. "Pikapi!" Pikachu said happily. It ran up to King and jumped on his shoulder.
"So, are you guys here to get your next Gym Badge?" King asked. "Yep!" Ashton said. "Cool. I was wondering though, if you're not busy, could you help me with something?" King asked. "Sure! What do you need help with?" Justin asked. "There's a Team Rocket hideout here," King said.
"Really?" The three boys asked. "Yep. The Johto League asked me to come investigate it. So I'm here now," King said. "I see. If it's Team Rocket, then they're definitely up to no good. We'll help, but do you know where the hideout is?" Justin asked. "Yep. It's in a small shop at Mahogany Town. Let's get going. The faster we are, the faster we can stop them," King said.
"Let's do it!" They all said to motivate each other. They walked back to Mahogany Town, fully prepared to stop Team Rocket's plans.
