Three trainers leave Pallet Town and travel across the Kanto and Johto regions. Along the way, they meet lots of friends and enemies and compete in the Kanto Tournament League and the Johto League.
Our heros were currently walking with King to Mahogany Town to help him with his mission of infiltrating Team Rocket's Hideout and stopping any type of plan they had. Ashton decided to start a conversation with King.
"So King, how are things back in Kanto?" Ashton asked. "Kanto's doing great. All the people love me as the new Champion," King said. "That's because you're a great guy. So, how have things been with you and Misty?" Justin asked. "Oh, Misty and I are doing great. I've been watching her at the gym and giving advice to her and the Challengers. Plus, she's teaching me how to swim better," King said.
"Have you been following the grooming plan I showed you for Pikachu?" Okotsu asked. "Mhm! Pikachu's fur is looking as good as ever," King said. "Pikachu!" It said happily. Okotsu reached in his bag and pulled out some Pokemon food. He gave some to Pikachu and Blastoise, who happily accepted them and started eating. "Hey Ash, I noticed you've decided to let Blastoise walk outside of it's PokeBall with you," King said.
"Yeah. It's to build a better bond between me and Blastoise. It's been really fun too," Ashton said, rubbing Blastoise's back.
They continued walking until they arrived in Mahogany Town again. "Ok, the "shop" should be this way," King said, leading them town. They got to a small little shack that had a sign that read "Souvenir Ship!" On it. King knocked on the door before opening the door and walking in. The other three boys followed him.
Inside were two men. One was sweeping and the other was behind the counter. "Greetings! Are you here to check out our rare souvenirs?" The Clerk asked. "No. We're here because we know about the Team Rocket Hideout you have hidden under this Shop!" King said. The Clerk and the Employee both jumped at this. "How do you know about that?! Who are you?!" The Employee asked.
That's when the Clerk realized who they were. "(Oh crap, that's The Kanto Champion! Those three are also the runner ups!)" The Clerk thought in a panic. He looked over and almost had a heart attack when he saw the Employee pulling out a PokeBall. "We won't go down to you! Let's do this Arbok!" The Employee said, tossing his PokeBall forward. "Blastoise, use Hydro Pump!" Ashton said.
Blastoise charged a beam of water and shot it at the Clerk and the Employee, sending them crashing into the back wall. The Arbok got scared and hid behind the Counter. "Ok, start looking everywhere until you find an entrance to the hideout," King said. They all started moving things around until Okotsu moved a Bookshelf and saw stairs leading downwards.
"I found the entrance guys!" Okotsu said. "That's good. Now let's head down there. We might have to split up because the hideout Is huge," King said. They walked down the stairs and headed down the long hallway. At the end of the hallway was a huge room with lots of doorways. "Ok guys, we're splitting up now. If you get caught, don't be afraid to battle," King said. "Right!" Ashton, Justin, and Okotsu said.
They all walked to different doors and walked inside. Ashton and Blastoise had walked into another big room that was full of computers. "Huh, nothing here," Ashton said. He and Blastoise saw another door on the side of the room and walked to it. They opened it and saw another hallway. "Jeez, what is this place, a maze?" Ashton asked in frustration.
There were some Team Rocket Grunts walking down the hallway. Ashton heard their footsteps and ran down the hallway to avoid them. He stopped running and stopped to catch his breath. He was about to start walking again when he heard more footsteps again. "(Oh crap, they caught me!)" Ashton thought. He turned around, but he saw it wasn't a Team Rocket Grunt, it was just Silver.
"Hey, I thought I told you I was gonna be the one who stops Team Rocket," Silver said. Ashton was about to say something, but Silver started talking before he could. "Anyways, who was that kid with the Pikachu. I tried to battle him, but none of my Pokemon stood a chance against him," Silver asked.
"Oh, that was King. He's the Champion of the Kanto Region," Ashton said. "The Champion! That's why he's so strong. I can't believe that Soft Hearted idiot is the champion. He was going on and on about how I don't treat my Pokemon with love and care," Silver said.
"Whatever. I'm not gonna keep wasting time with a loser like you," Silver said before walking away. "(I wonder what could have made him into a such a jerk.)" Ashton thought.
He saw a door and was about to open it when he heard more footsteps. "Oh great, who is it now?" Ashton asked. He turned and saw Justin, Okotsu, and King walking down the hall. "Oh, Ash! The rooms all connected together and brought us to this door. It must be the room that the Team Rocket Admin is in," Justin said.
"I see. Well, let's all enter together," Ashton said. He opened the door and all of them walked inside. They saw even more grunts and a women with red hair and a white outfit.

"Huh? Who are you brats?" The woman asked. "We're the ones who're here to stop you!" Ashton said. "Really now? You, stopping us? You must be pretty confident, boy. But can you back that threat up?!" She asked as she grabbed a PokeBall and threw it forward. She sent out an Arbok. "Pikachu, use Thunderbolt," King said. "Pika," Pikachu said.
Pikachu jumped off of King's shoulder and shot a bolt of electricity at Ariana's Arbok, shocking it and causing it to faint instantly. "What?!" Ariana exclaimed. "It's over. Give up and turn yourself in," King said. Ariana simply smirked and pulled out a device out of her pocket. She pressed the button and instantly disappeared. "What?!" The trainers exclaimed.
"She's gone. She must have teleported or something," Justin said. They looked around and saw all the grunts were gone. "They must've snuck away when we weren't looking," Okotsu said.
"So this mission was a bust. That's a bummer," King said. "It's fine. Atleast they're gone. We don't know if they'll be back, but for now, they're gone," Ashton said. "That's true. Ok guys, let's get out of here," King said.
They all walked back the way they came and eventually, out of the hideout and shop. They were back in the middle of town. "So I guess this is where we part ways. It was nice seeing you guys again," King said. "You too. I'm glad to know that you're doing good," Ashton said.
"See ya later King," Okotsu said. "Can't wait to see you later," Justin said. King smiled and called Dragonite out of it's PokeBall. King got on it's back and smiled at them one more time before Dragonite flew away. "So, now that we helped King with his mission, let's go challenge the Gym," Justin said. "Great idea. Let's go," Ashton said. They walked down the street and made their way to the Mahogany Town Gym.
