Three trainers leave Pallet Town and travel across the Kanto and Johto regions. Along the way, they meet lots of friends and enemies and compete in the Kanto Tournament League and the Johto League.
After walking through the tall grass on Route 30, our heros arrived in Cherrygrove City once again. "Now we just go back through New Bark Forest and then we'll be back at New Bark Town," Justin said.
They made their way down the streets of Cherrygrove City and headed down the path path to New Bark Forest. They were about to go when they saw a familiar face. It was the red haired kid who had shoved Ashton to the ground back at New Bark Town.
"It's you. You're the one who is supposed to deliver an egg to Professor Elm," The boy said. "Um yeah. That's me," Ashton said. "You also competed in the Kanto League from what I've heard. Pathetic. A wimp like you doesn't deserve Pokemon," The boy said.
"What's your problem! What did Ash do to you?" Justin asked. The boy ignored him. "You think that just because you have Johto Pokemon that you're special. Well guess what. I also have a Pokemon that will crush yours," The boy said. He pulled out his Pokeball and tossed it forward.
A blue alligator like Pokemon came out of the boy's PokeBall.

"Hes trying to force a battle on you Ash. We don't have to stay here and let him be rude to us," Okotsu said. Justin and Okotsu tried to walk by him, but Ashton stopped them. "No. He wants a battle. He'll get one," Ashton said. He grabbed a PokeBall and tossed it forward. Bulbasaur came out.
"Totodile, use Water Gun!" The boy said. Totodile opened it's mouth and shot a beam of water at Bulbasaur. "Bulbasaur, dodge and use Vine Whip!" Ashton said. Bulbasaur jumped to the left, dodging the water gun attack, and sprouted two vines. Bulbasaur smacked Totodile with them. "Totodile, use Bite!" The boy said.
Totodile ran at Bulbasaur and tried to bite it's face, but Bulbasaur ducked, causing Totodile to bite the air. Bulbasaur lifted it's head, slamming it into Totodile's jaw and sending it flying back. "Impossible! I won't lose to a weakling like you!" The boy said.
"Bulbasaur, use Wrap and Absorb!" Ashton said. Bulbasaur shot a vine and wrapped it around Totodile. The vine started absorbing energy from Totodile. Eventually, Totodile fainted and Bulbasaur let go of Totodile.
The boy called Totodile back to it's Pokeball and scoffed. "Whatever. You got lucky," The boy said as he turned to walk away. "One more thing. My name's Silver and I'm gonna be the world's greatest trainer," Silver said before walking away. "Silver, huh? He has a good goal, but his way of talking to others could definitely be worked on," Okotsu said.
"Let's not think about it too much. Let's get going to New Bark Town," Ashton said. The trainers started walking down the path to New Bark Town. They walked through New Bark Forest, which took ten minutes, and eventually arrived at New Bark Town.
When they got to Professor's lab, they noticed a cop car outside the lab. "Huh? Why are the police here?" Ashton asked. The boys walked inside the lab and saw a police officer asking Professor Elm some questions.
