" Well, look at you, finally feeling like joining the rest of us?"

I taunt him, it'll work out better if he just targets me. Sarah and Anna didn't seem to like me doing that, but it's better than him attempting to attack Anna again. And almost on time with him showing up, I heard them.

/ Thump! Thump! Thump!/

Stomping on the ground, behind me, the people we've saved are appearing. Like reinforcements for an army, they all showed up with swords, axes, spears, javelins and many other different weapons.

" Yes, go there, you'll be fine. Max knows the way."

" Follow Gwaid, he'll take you there."

I overhear Count Sark and Count Gorse give instructions to Tana and Gasha. We've basically decided to put all of the non-combatants in the church that we were staying at. My Barrier is still standing, and it had engulfed the church by the time I woke up. Seemed like a good idea. Honestly, it still does. We let a few of trusted servants in the Gorse and Sark households handle bringing the kids there and looking after them, this way we can focus on the problem at hand... AKA the angry God. He was currently just standing and glaring at me as our back-up continued marching towards us.

" What do you think he's planning?"

" Probably how to kill us, if I had to guess."

Count Sark had arrived next to us and asked me a question with an obvious answer. I was almost surprised to see him next to me, but his size makes his steps pretty loud. Currently, Sarah and Anna were discussing something with Princess Alice. I wanted to remind them that we were in a battle, but the look on Sarah and Anna's faces tells me that whatever they were discussing was of the upmost importance... What could it be though? If it's our battle strategy, they didn't need to move all the way over there..

" But if that's the case, why isn't he attacking already? You said that he could move so fast it looked like he was teleporting, right?"

This time, Count Gorse spoke to me, his words had a hint of confusion to them. It was understandable, I was confused to. After how he tossed me around and just grabbed the girls after knocking me out, I would've thought he would have attempted to grab the girls on our way back to the ground, but he didn't do anything. Why is that? Does he think it's no longer worth the effort? Or is there something worse on the way?

" He's just standing there staring at us! Why don't we attack him already!?"

" Count Tye, we need to work together on this. Just us attacking isn't going to do anything, it'd be like 4 ants trying to take out a person. We need numbers. We may still not even have enough."

" Are you kidding me?"

" Were you paying attention when we were discussing this?"

" Yes, but... You seem... Afraid of him almost?"

" I'm not afraid, I'm weary of him. I want this to end with our win. The only way that we can do that is together."

Count Tye had joined the discussion as well, now with the " 4 heads" of this little militia that we have. Meanwhile, it seems that the wives of Count Sark and Gorse have joined Sarah and Anna... What the hell are they doing?

" Relax, they're probably figuring out if the Princess should fight or not. Might not be the place for any of us to tell a Princess what she can and can't do. That's the job for a King or women that she respects."

" I don't think she's listened to a word I've said since meeting her so..."

" Really?"

Count Gorse seemed surprised at my words.
