" You're getting annoying, you know that?"

I couldn't help but voice my frustrations at my opponent. From what we had seen during the first time we were attacked by them, we thought that they weren't fully autonomous. But it seems that they learn as they're fighting. Or maybe all that time they spent standing still they were actually thinking of how to fight us on their own. If so, I'm not sure if what we're doing is going to work, but I just have this feeling inside of me that if I can land an attack with the Goddess's Of The Underworld's mana, it'll hurt the opponent. Who would've thought that they've adapted so well to us.

/ CRASH!/

A loud sound filled everyone's ears, I took a look with one of my many eyes, it was John. He was able to do it! He threw one of them into a Portal! From the smile on his face, it looks like it was a successful strategy. Oh, he's finishing his opponent off. Good, he crushed its head and smashed its heart... If they do have a heart that is.

" Anna! What was that!? It was Matthew, wasn't it!?"

Alice called out to me, mid-swing of one her swords as well. I can't tell if that takes talent if she's too obsessed with John now. It doesn't take much to realize that she's fallen for our Husband. It was the Princess Carry that was the finishing blow to the walls in her heart. If Sarah and I didn't have a chance to calm her down before this chaos erupted, I'd hate to think what she would try to do. We even had to pull out the " Reward you in time" strategy already. She's quite obsessive already, but at the same time, I can see her cheeks growing more and more red as she calls him by his name. Well... Fake name, but it's his name to her. Speaking of which, how will the girls react when he eventually reveals his real name to them? Maybe Sarah and I should prepare him for that one day? Anyways, I need to give Alice an answer.

" It was, he's defeated his opponent, I say we don't let him get too far ahead of us! What do you say, Alice!?"

" Of course!"

With my words, Alice's killing intent had released in a giant burst that seemed to affect our enemies and cause them to involuntarily take on a defensive stance. I took this as my moment to try and land a blow.

/ Swish!/

Again, my dagger just misses by a hair's breadth. It continues to dodge away, but I have an idea now. Perhaps it was that crash, it made me finally realize that I've been thinking about this all wrong. John didn't rely on his Paladin skills, and I shouldn't be relying solely on my Divine Channeler skills either! I've been so transfixed on my Channeler skills that I forgot that I have more to offer than just Divine Channeler. I can use a simple trick that won't take much mana to do. First, I need to make him run away again, that shouldn't be difficult to do. I begin to the chase against him again. Still, he tries to run and dodge, but not this time!

/Whoosh!/

I threw one of my daggers at him, this was a feint and he fell for it! He ducked, now to channel my mana

/ SNAP!/

And with that, my plan worked! I've wrapped both of his feet with strong vines that I can summon with my Druid Job! Now with that!

/ STAB!/

Finally! I got him!

Something's strange with my mana. It's not harming me, but the Underworld Goddess's mana is being sucked into the chest of my opponent. It's not stopping either, I need to withdraw the blade.
