" I apologize for that..."

* Sniff...*

" Ms. Victoria, you don't need to apologize for something like this, just take your time for right now, we can leave when you and Kim feel able to."

" No... We can leave now."

" I appreciate that you want to be strong, but..."

* Sniff!*

John and Ms. Victoria both looked at Kim who was still trying to stop her tears from welling up in her eyes. It's been 40 minutes since John announced that Patrick and Victor had moved on to the afterlife. Ms. Victoria as the elder, was able to calm herself faster than her young daughter but waiting a bit longer shouldn't be too large of an issue, it's only the afternoon after all. I'd rather spend the time here and now to calm both of them down so the journey can be smooth.

* Sniff!*

That may be more difficult than I would like it to be. It also doesn't help that we're still not close to the 2 of them and that means our words don't mean much. That's the reason why Ms. Victoria refuses to take John's words at face value.

" Hm?"

John took his hand and began to pat Kim's head gently. Ms. Victoria was worried for a moment as she didn't know what he was going to do and made that sound no doubt from nervousness.

* sniff...*

It looks like the repeated strokes of her head has begun to calm Kim down somewhat. I guess I can let her borrow his kindness for now, but tonight I'll have him return twice as much to Anna and me.

" Come now, Alle. There's no sense in being jealous of a child."

" Huh? I'm not-"

" The look in your eyes says otherwise. It's the same look I had when he would interact with women before I married him. Instead of that, you should think about how to make him desire you instead."

" I have some ideas about that, by the way."

Just as I was taking out the small amount of frustration I had by teasing Alle, Anna joined the conversation as well with something surprising. From the look in her eyes as she spoke, I could tell that Anna wasn't joking about what she said. This made me wonder what she's thought up. The only reason that we all could speak like this is that John was currently speaking to Ms. Victoria and Kim. With him not paying attention, we've been able to speak a bit frankly even with him in our sights, it felt strange to say the least, like watching a deer you're hunting before attacking it. I... No, we waited to hear what Anna's idea was.

" Well, you see, I feel like I've figured out a way to make John reciprocate their feelings. The way to do that is to use their natural charms to do it!"

Alle and I just looked at Anna with a look of confusion... I mean weren't they already doing that?

" Sarah, Alice. Think about it! Have any of them actually try and appeal to him with their natural gifts? Has Emily appealed with her breasts? Has Ruby used her toned body? Hell, Sarah, did we ever really try? All you did was kiss him a few times and he confessed to me after I made him fall for me accidentally."

I turned to look at Alle for a moment... Would it be the toned body along with the animal ears and tail? I know that some Noblewomen have tried to buy specially made replicas of Beastmen ears and tails to spice up their bedroom with their husbands...
