" Wait!"

Anna screamed at me to stop, but I took off running without a second thought. I saw Sarah fall; I can't let her hit the ground. I felt uncomfortable with leaving the frontline to Sarah and Princess Alice. I had a feeling something wasn't right. Then Sarah used an ability I've never seen her use before in attempt to climb our giant enemy and land the finishing blow, except when her halberd was about to make contact with the giant's head, a green blade came flying out of nowhere and pierced her chest. I can see her blood flowing down her chest as I move closer and closer.

/RUMBLE!/

" Absolutely not!"

The giant noticed that I was coming, it lifted its arm to strike me, I screamed at him in turn. My blood was rushing to my head, I felt it with every breath... Every heartbeat. She's falling off of his head now! I stopped caring about plans and strategies at this point. I channel an excessive amount of mana into my hand and shout the spell name that I hoped to cause damage to the giant or at least occupy his attention while I go after my real goal during the confusion.

" ANGEL"S SPEAR!"

/RUMBLE! CRASH!/

A white spear descended from the sky and landed directly on the giant; I didn't care if it did damage. I jumped after the spear hit the giant. I was able to grab her. Shes still warm, her blood is all over the place. Her breathing is shallow but it's consistent. The bodies of Demons aren't to be underestimated it seems. I need to take the sword out of her chest and begin to hea-

/Crash! CRACK!/

The area around us began to darken, I could tell that the giant was attempting to attack us. I made a Barrier as quickly as I could. Thankfully, it formed in time... But it won't hold for long. I opened a portal under us. We fell through and we ended up around 50 feet away. I still have around 15% of my mana from what I've done, but it's fine. I can save her before it's too late. The first thing I need to do is get the problem away from Sarah. The sword had pierced the right side of Sarah's chest, it was the lower part of it, however. It seemed to just miss the top of her liver... I don't know whether to be angry or thankful at the fact the sword missed the center of her chest and the more important organs around it. I sit Sarah up and have her left arm and chest lean agaisnt my chest. I needed good leverage in order to do this as quickly as possible. The Sword had no handle to grasp onto, so I just grabbed the naked blade with my hand. I bled, but the sword gave way, and I was able to pull it out and throw it behind us a good distance. Feeling the sword with my hand, it turned out it wasn't really a sword, it was some kind of plant... A leaf or something? Regardless of that...

/ GUSH!/

The blood started to flow even worse ever since I pulled the weapon out of her. But it's fine... She'll be fine now. I can heal her fully now.

" Holy Heal!"

I heal her quickly my mana sinks into her body but... Something's wrong... My mana... It's struggling to heal her... Something's... Stopping it? HIM!?

" ERGGHH..."

A growl escaped out of my mouth like a wild dog as I looked at the probable cause of the difficulty of healing Sarah... It's him. The God. His mana is interfering with my Holy Mana... He's smiling at me as well. If I could get my hands around his throat and fire off a Holy Flame... No! I need to focus... I need to heal Sarah... I need to figure something out.

/RUMBLE!/

The giant is coming towards us. I need to open another portal... I won't have enough mana to heal her completely if I do though. But if I get her to Anna... She could use her powers as well. Where is she? I nee-
