" Yes, I understand that, but we don't know what Humans are capable of in the first place since Dark Pixie's aren't generally contracted by Summoners, right?"
" Even still, from the stories we've heard as children, no one in the history of Diablos has been able to do that or seen someone capable of that. It's insane, like walking into the Hero accidently and knocking him out right then and there or something?"
Byron and Lady Cindy still couldn't get over that thanks to Paula I could get all the way to Blackstone, I tried to explain that since Dark Pixies aren't contracted too commonly, we didn't really know if I was special or if it may have just been due to my and Paula's diligence with training. Regardless, I decided to just admit defeat to them and continue the conversation.
" Alright, I'm a bit special. Either way, I guess we should just take the contract and I'll deliver it tomorrow."
" And look Big Bro, he's acting like it's no big deal."
" Well, he has a different kind of common sense to us doesn't he, Cin?"
" That must be it."
I picked up the paper I signed and returned to my seat.
" With that settled, I'll do what I can to restore the lands tomorrow in the morning, in the afternoon, I'd like to investigate the grounds around where your mansion used to be. If that's okay with you both of course?"
Byron looked at bit confused by that last part.
" Why do you need to do that?"
" I'd like to look around to see if I can find the bodies of Patrick and Victor... And anyone else, if I can."
" Do you really think they're there?"
" If I had to guess, it makes the most sense to me. The grounds were big, he'd bring suspicion on himself if he tried to dispose of the bodies elsewhere, he also had to keep it all under wraps as best as he could... The only place I could think of him keeping them is on the premises. I have a Summon that should be able to look around and tell us definitely if they're there."
" I see... I'll allow it."
" Thank you."
Byron looked like he was about to have a massive headache, Lady Cindy seemed to not want to think about what her father had done at all. I could understand why, but he did what he did. All I can do now is pick up the pieces that I can for the Harvey family and any other victims that I could find while searching for Patrick and Victor.
" With that all squared away, I guess the only thing left to talk about is about Roseland Products."
My words made Lady Cindy's 4 grey eyes dart up with excitement.
" Great! That's wonderful!"
And she still paled in comparison to her brother's reaction. With the both of them acting like this, I wondered how they will do with further business meetings if they'll show the emotions on their faces this clearly. Maybe I should just take it as a sign they trust me?
/Growl!/
Or more than likely, Demons just can't lie when it comes to their stomachs and their appetites Byron rubbed the back of his head and began to explain himself, even though he really didn't need to.
" I didn't eat that much earlier during lunch so excuse me for that."
" It's fine, I'm also quite hungry as well."
Byron looked a little embarrassed, I tried to help him out by saying I was hungry as well.
" Moving on from that, what exactly were you thinking pricewise for Ice Cream and Cheesecake?"
