Chapter 336. Delcan And Kate

" Hello, it's a pleasure to meet you, Marquess Matthew. My name is Kate Fall, daughter of Duke Cameron Fall. I was made the official fiancé of Prince Delcan a few days after he left Darkheim. Once I found out the reason why my fiancé left, I decided to tag along in order to get to know him better."

" Well... It's nice to meet you, Lady Kate. I hope you enjoy your stay here."

We moved the meeting to the mansion, currently we were in my office, there were enough seats around to sit the important figures of the day. By that I mean King Leonard, Queen Aqua, all 4 of their children, Lady Kate Fall, myself and my Wives as well. Lady Kate had just introduced herself to us and explained her reason for coming here... But for some reason, when she looked at me, I feel like there was another reason she wasn't mentioning. I looked to Sarah and Anna if they had any idea what she was talking about, they seemed to know, but they didn't let me in on what it was. I looked at Delcan and I was surprised by his expression; it was like he ate something really spicy.

" A-Are you oka-"

" What are you even doing here, Kate!? And you kissed me in fron-"

" I'm your fiancé now, Del."

" You can't just walk in here and tell lies abou-"

" She's not lying, Del."

" What, Dad!?"

" Yes, after looking through all of the available options, Kate Fall was the best option. She's from a great family, she's well educated, a good mage and the most important part of it all."

" I love you, Del."

" Not this again!"

 Delcan looks like he's been giving shocking news. I wonder why?

" What do you mean " not this again", Prince Delcan?"

Delcan looked back at me with a look of misery in his eyes.

" I mean that she's done this before!"

" Done what?"

" What she's just done! Embarrassed me in front of an audience and then try and pretend it's fine by saying she loves me! It's been like this ever since we met in the Acadamy!"

" Come now, Del. I've never sought to embarrass you."

Lady Kate spoke with a teasing smile on her face to Delcan.

" You used Fire Magic to burn my pants off during our junior year during the practical exam!"

" That's only because you froze yourself in your own Ice Magic."

" And you chased after me using Wind Magic after that!"

" Because you asked Kala to the formal even though I told you that you'd be going with me!"

" I can choose who I want to go to a dance with! Just because our parents are friends that doesn't mean we need to get married! How many times do I need to tell you this!"

" Well, any time any boy ever tried to get close to me, you'd always scare them off, didn't you."

" That's only because they were only going after you because of your Family's Nobility. None of them even knew your name even though you were the top scorer in the Exams! It was obvious from the way they were looking at you."

" I could say the same for all of those harlots who tried to confess to you during our time at the academy."

Delcan and Lady Kate were having a spirited back and forth. I just looked at King Leonard and Queen Crystal before speaking.
