Chapter 338. Melissa Brings Revelations

" So, they haven't left... As a test for you? Please forgive me for being rude... but isn't that-"

" Rude... Yes, but it's coming from a good place. King Warrick and Queen Aqua worry about me a great deal for a few reasons. Least of all because I'm one half of the reason they're expecting grandkids soon."

I explained the situation to everyone in the room. King Leonard and Queen Aqua seemed to be entertained by Warrick and Aqua's idea. Maybe all Kings and Queens enjoy messing with their Noblemen?

" Having said all of that, I'd like to excuse myself for a moment and bring them here now and I'd like to bring Sarah with me as well."

" You want to bring your wife with you?"

" Yes, it's to help me focus."

Prince Donatello confirmed what I just said, and I decided to tell a little joke about it. After cracking a smile, I said something of a half-truth, mostly because they still looked confused.

" In case it bears repeating, Sarah is the 1st Princess of Diablos, she gave that title up when she decided to marry me, but that doesn't mean she was disowned from her family, so why not let them meet, it's been nearly a year since the last time they've met. I figured it'd be a nice thing to do, since I can probably do it without passing out now, Shall we?"

I looked at Sarah and Anna, Sarah seemed happy and more than willing to go. Anna tried not to show that she wanted to go as well, but I could tell from the way her eyes on her shoulders were blinking at me. Hopefully my mana consumption for teleporting will be good enough to that we can all travel around. Midori Village is pretty close to Paradise relative to Blackstone, so if the consumption isn't terrible for Blackstone, I should be able to bring Sarah and Anna to Midori Village to visit the Mori Family after all of this. While thinking about this, I bring my hand out to Sarah, and she happily takes it.

" I thought you'd never ask."

Sarah places a hand on her cheek in reaction to my gesture, then she places her hand on mine. She gets up with my help and I turn to Anna who obviously wants the same treatment, and I planned on doing so.

" And for you as well, Anna."

Anna smiled gently and offered her hand while shifting her head to appeal to me. I happily lift her up. Once both my Wives were stood up, I turned around to address the Royal Couple.

" While I take Sarah to see her parents and bring them here, why not enjoy some appetizers prepared by our chef? It's the afternoon after all, a perfect time for lunch, why don't we all speak over lunch?"

" Will any of Roseland Products dishes be there?"

Princess Melissa asked a pretty blunt question, I looked at her a bit confused.

" What? My Parents haven't stopped talking about this "Ice Cream" of yours! Del was supposed to come back with it, but he's been staying here way longer than he should be!"

" Well... That might be more of my fault than his, some problems kept popping up, so I didn't have as much time... Granted he was okay with it, but still... I'll make sure to finish up my part of the deal, I'll assign some Demons to travel with you with the first delivery. I'll throw in a few bonus products to. In particular we've been able to make a really good chocolate cheesecake."

" Cheesecake!?"

Princess Melissa's light-yellow eyes began to sparkle like stars. I guess the cake part of the word got her interested.

" Yes, it's a cake we make, I promise it's really good. Granted, I like ice cream better. But to answer your original question, yes, we have ice cream and the like every day for dessert. Usually for dessert after dinner, but we can make an exception. If a Princess wishes for some of our food, of course we'd have to bring her some."
