" We need to find an opening, it's probably some type of manipulation of a material that's inside his body, like those B-Class monsters, Bone Warriors!"

" We just need to find the right moment to strike, the issue is that we're running out of stamina... And mana. We need to do something fast and make it count!"

Count Sark spoke and then I added my own thoughts on top of it. Thankfully the answer to our dilemma came with a nice sound.

/WHOOSH!/

A fireball flew ahead of the 4 of us, Lady Kina obviously decided it was time to launch a spell.

" Fool!"

The God Of The Blackwood's spikes on his left arm stood up instead of being bent and then began to spin, tearing the flesh from his body as the fireball approached. Eventually, the spinning made a strong flow of air that was able to slow the fireball down enough for him to dodge the fireball. Regardless of the fact he was able to stop the fireball from landing, we all moved forward to attack.

/Clunk. Clang! Thump! CLANG!/

We all attack, and we're all blocked by him, the spikes have shifted and changed to fit whatever defensive need he has. It almost seems automatic.

" Like I said, you're all below me!"

He yells.

/Whoosh!/

He blows us all away with the power of his mana, we move back around 10 feet and we're back at where we started.

" Your ends are beginning; don't you all understand that!? Why not just accept it!?"

He shouts, but no one is buying it, we know he's weakening.

" Why not accept the obvious yourself!? You're close to defeat, and you know it!"

Lady Kina shouts at him, it looks like she took that whole tongue comment to heart, who can blame her? Remembering that seemed to make Count Sark even angrier than before.

" Wait, Phil!"

Count Tye called to him, but Count Sark didn't listen, he ran and attacked the enemy, only to be blocked again. I noticed that the God Of The Blackwoods raised his arm, I immediately jumped into action before he attacked Count Sark. While he was weakened, that didn't mean that our enemy wasn't harmless. I aimed a kick to the arm that was raised so I could stop Count Sark from being injured.

/Clunk!/

My kick was stopped again, but it stopped him from landing on Count Sark.

/Clang! Clang! Clang!/

Count Gorse supported me and attacked the God Of The Blackwoods while he was focused on us. Count Gorse aimed for the God's chest, but again the spikes defended for him. I'm beginning to understand why he decided to use them, they're quite problematic to deal with.

/Whoosh! Clunk!/

A ball of ice went between Count Sark and I's head and slammed into the head of the God. With that moment, we were able to back away again to a safe distance.

" No more losing our minds! We need to stay focused!"

I admonish the Sark Couple as they seemed to be the ones that were the most hot blooded. Hell, Alice was slowly waiting for the perfect moment to launch an attack through an opening from our attacks. I can't let anyone risk injury right now since I don't know how long John will take calming down Sarah's rage. Without knowing the answer since she was in a rage like no other, I needed to keep everyone from being injured as best as I can.
