" I'll take his left!"

" Leave his right to me!"

" Let's go!"

Count Sark started to aim for the left side of the God Of The Blackwood as his muscles bulged and seemed to grow with every step he took. Count Gorse on the other hand seemed to disappear as he called the right side of our enemy to be his. I simply agreed with them and began to aim my sword towards the Evil God's heart and neck.

" You think cracking my armor is enough to be this overconfident!?"

Our enemy seemed to be confident in his chances against us, but the fact that for the first time today, he's begun to guard himself with his sword instead of mocking us, tells me worry has snuck its way into his mind. Quite frankly, I think this is a good thing, and it's not just the innate thirst for battle flooding out from my chest that this support spell from Count Tye gave me giving me false confidence. We cracked his armor before this. Now that we know it's possible from testing the waters, it's time to attack with intent, just like he's been doing this whole time to us.

/THOOM!/

" You think I'm just going to stand there and let you atta-"

/WHOOSH! BOOM!/

Before he could finish his sentence, a small but fast fireball hit the God Of The Blackwood square in his cheek. While it didn't hurt him, it did distract him long enough for me to swing Scarlet at him. I need to remember to thank Lady Kina and Lady Diana after all of this is over.

/CLANG!/

Damn. He blocked Scarlet with his own sword.

" AHH!"

" Scarlet!?"

I heard Scarlet scream as he and I fight for dominance while our swords grinded against each other. The scream worried me, so I quickly jumped back a fair distance, something like 15 feet.

" Run if you can, Scum!"

/CLANG!/

" Don't forget about me!"

Count Sark stopped the God of the Blackwood in his tracks with a swing of his axe, I could see from here that Count Sark's muscles had grown around twice his size, leaving him looking more and more like a monster from a horror film.

/CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!/

While he and the God Of The Blackwood fight it out, I turn to Scarlet's physical blade to see if something had happened to it. With a once over, she looked okay, I couldn't see any damage on the blade itself. Once I was sure, I began to try and speak to her.

" Scarlet, are you okay? What happened?"

" That blade! It hurt me!?"

" How? Didn't we already clash with the blade before? Did you feel anything before from it?"

" No... I only felt a strange stinging... I thought that was normal... But this... I felt actual pain from that last clash."

" How is this possible?"

I asked my question out loud while looking at Count Sark and the God Of The Blackwood clashing their weapons with each other. That's when I noticed it.

" His blade... Is... Is it glowing?"

" What?"

Scarlet seemed to think I was speaking to her, I again, just spoke my question aloud. We both were quite puzzled by what I discovered. Sure, it was hard to see and even harder to resist the urge to jump into the fray... This spell... Its name is fitting. I crave to fight like I'm cursed. The idea of drawing his blood with an attack is almost too tantalizing, like finding an oasis in the dessert while dying of thirst. I pushed my desire as far down as I could... I need to focus... How is Count Gorse resisting this urge? Focus! I take a hard look at the blade of the God Of The Blackwood.
