John Ericsson's Point Of View
" And you just... Forgot to come and tell me all of this?"
" Well, there was a lot going on, you know? Besides, if not for me, you wouldn't even have heard of it for weeks, right?"
" While that might be true, that doesn't make it right. Just to be perfectly clear, when an Evil God attacks my country, I'd like to know about it as soon as possible. Let alone the fact that he nearly sacrificed Little Alice, he nearly killed my daughter, and he even nearly killed you. I'm glad you're safe, but just think how it'd feel if you were in my shoes right now."
Warrick was currently rubbing his head like a headache was beginning to hurt for him. After coming back to the townhouse, I remembered I hadn't delivered the paperwork from Zana to Warrick yet. I decided that it was best to stop by and deliver the papers. I thought it would just be a quick drop-off, when I explained my thinking to Sarah and Anna, they just looked at me then at themselves and shrugged their shoulders and sent me on my way... Now I understand why.
" Ah... It's too much... All of the idiots arguing, feeling threatened about making him a Marquess and now he beats a God with some help...."
Warrick's headache was growing, and I could swear I heard something important in his muttering under his breath. Before I could ask him to repeat what he said, one of the other people in the room asked me a question.
" So, you befriended and saved Alle from being kidnapped from an Evil God, did you?"
" Yeah. She and I have been getting along for the most part... She does keep insisting I call her by her name without her title though, I've been wondering if I can get in trouble for doing that since I'm only a Marquess. Can I, Aqua?"
" Haahhhggg... No, as long as you have witnesses like Sarah and Anna to Alle being the one to ask to call you by name it'll be fine..."
Aqua said that with a voice that sounded tired. She then looked at the person sitting to my right.
" Did you hear that, Cyn?"
I looked away from Aqua to look at Cynthia who, due to timing I haven't seen since she left for the Royal Acadamy a few days before Sarah, Anna and I left for Paradise. Sure, we've technically spoke through letters, but I at least prefer speaking to people in person since I can't use a phone or text anyone.
" Yes, Mother... I heard..."
" Ah... Cynthia? Are you okay?"
For some reason, Cynthia's pink eyes seemed to grow darker and the light from the magical tools didn't seem to reflect off of them. I was concerned of course, so I asked if she was okay.
" Oh, I'm perfectly fine..."
" R-Right..."
Cynthia smiled at me, but it didn't seem like an actual smile, maybe she's tired from all of the work she's been doing at the Acadamy? Maybe I should ask about now since....
" Another one!?"
" Yup, Alle. Good luck talking to Alan, Dear."
" Well, he shouldn't be too difficult... But what is this?"
" Well, I'd say she just has good eyes, like our daughters, right?"
" Even still... The Dark Elves too..."
Warrick and Aqua seemed to be sharing the headache now. I turned to Cynthia to start up a conversation, but...
" Yes?"
