(Not requested by anyone.

Just wanted to do another cannon point in the timeline. This time, how Tom got his goggles in the first place. (Yeah, that's right. I don't think it's from eye cancer, like he claims. And you'll see why I think he was lying. Trust me, reader. By the end of this, tell me if you wouldn't blame Tom for holding his secret.)

Tord and Tom are already married in this shot. And their house is in Tord's Red Army base, away from all of the busy stuff.

Enjoy the SLIGHT feels)

Tom and Tord used to be enemies. They used to seem like complete opposites, who couldn't agree on anything. They got into multiple fights, most of which turned violent. After a few years, though, the impossible seemed to happen. The two started being nicer to eachother, eventually falling in love with eachother. It was a good thing that Tord confessed, for Tom would probably be too scared to ever say.
The two had an almost perfect relationship. They still had fights, but they were only verbal and would end with the one who started the fight going to the other and apologizing greatly for what they said during the fight. It would always end in the two cuddling on the floor or on the couch and didn't do too much to their relationship.

After a few years, the two got married and Tom, along with his two friends, moved with Tord to Norway. That was where his army was based. The group knew about his army, nicknamed the Red Army after Tord's favorite color, and his intentions of taking over the world. Edd and Matt weren't too sure about supporting Tord, but Tom rallied for him, no matter what. So, Tord gave his husband the job of being his advisor; helping out with tactical decisions, planning, and overall managment of the entire base.

Even into their marriage, the two lovers fought. It was slightly more frequent now, but it still stayed verbal and would end in apologies. Nothing got physical; not a single object was thrown and not a single punch or slap was thrown. That is, until one day.

Since Tord was an army leader, he had to be in his office for most of the day and couldn't take breaks, in fear something would go wrong. Tom didn't mind this at first, even if he barely saw his lover. He just told himself that it was beneficial to the Red Army. It didn't last very long, though, and he thoughts went away. Tom got mad. He started a fight over the fact that Tord didn't pay attention to anyone anymore and locked himself up in his office more and more frequently now. He didn't visit his closest friends, he didn't help out with issues going on inside of the base, and he barely ever payed attention to Tom anymore. The Brit barely even got a kiss from him anymore, let alone an 'I love you'.
Since both Tord and Tom had anger issues, it was no surprise that this fight went on for a long time. Back and forth, the two screamed insults at eachother, but stayed slightly away from eachother. Tord punched the wall a few times, his eyes red, while Tom had to control himself from doing the same, his eyes smoking purple.
The two didn't realize that they were getting closer to each other until they were standing chest to chest, poking eachother with every single insult. Venom laced every word. Tord, who was known for getting angry faster than Tom, couldn't even seem to control himself. He snapped out of the world, his vision blinded by anger and rage. He grabbed the nearest thing to him, a glass bottle, and smashed it over the top of Tom's head, sending the Brit spiraling back. He landed against the wall, sitting down on the floor.

Tord instantly saw his mistake, his eyes turning back to normal silver. He dropped the broken bottle he was holding and ran over to Tom, dropping to his knees. The Brit just groaned softly in pain.
"Oh god... Thomas... I... I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to do that I.... I'm sorry!" Tord exclaimed, hugging his smaller husband close and crying into his blue hoodie. Tom stayed silent, his eyes closed. Blood dropped down from the top of his head and out of his eyesockets, making it look like he was crying blood. Tord pulled back from the hug and slowly ran his finger on Tom's cheek, pulling back to inspect the red liquid. Tom opened his eyes slightly.
"Am I.... knocked... out...?"
".... no. Why..?" Tord asked, confused. He wiped away more blood as it came out of Tom's black eyes.
"I... can't see. Everything is black."

(I know I slightly broke logic, but Eddsworld always breaks logic.)
