(Before I start this, I wanted to thank everyone who reads this book. Seriously, 200k reads is a h u g e milestone for me, one that I never thought I would reach, let alone surpass.

Also, I apologize for this taking so long to do. I had school and other writing things to work on, but I got the judging done! It was extremely hard to choose a winner but I found my favorite.

I don't know why any of you read these shots of mine but thank you so much for everything. Really. I hope I can continue to write about TomTord for a while longer to make you guys happy or sad or whatever you feel when you read these.

Sadly, this is... what, part 139? If not more. That's a lot of shots that are written. Tell me if I should make a second shot book after this one ends and if you all would read that book. Updates will be a bit slow right now, since I have finals coming up in about thirty days or so and my teachers already have us studying. Plus, I've been a bit unmotivated to do anything, really, on this site, except for maybe role play. Writing's getting a bit hard for me to do right now, for some reason, and I can't draw correctly so I really just come here to shitpost about Slenderverse stuff and react to ships. Hopefully, my motivation comes back soon and I hope that you all are patient for the next shot to be updated (I got a request, so that'll be what comes out next).

Other than that, I hope you enjoy the shot a reader wrote! All of the entries were very well made but I could only make one the winner. Congrats to the winner and thank you for entering if you did, I loved the stories you all wrote!)

Thanks for your entry! I loved how poetic and beautiful it was, plus I'm a sucker for feels! Also, I like the song you chose. You're an amazing author, truly.))

Tick Tock,

Goes the clock on my office wall, a sound so simple yet so interesting. It makes me think of a time when I had better things to do than sit around thinking about the clock ticks. A time when my life was busy and full. I'm thinking of my friends. I dearly miss them and how they made me feel. They made me feel needed and like I had a place in this world. Now, I'm alone, like an island in the salty waters of the sea waiting to be found.

I return my attention to the clock as it strikes midnight. The base is asleep, waiting to be awoken by the fingers of dawn stretching across the sky. I decide to take a walk to nowhere, because even nowhere is somewhere after all.

I rise from my oak desk and my knees crack from sitting too long. It is a satisfying noise like the popping of popcorn or the crack of a gun. I exit the room to see Pau and Pat passed out at their desks. The Sandman must have graced them with delightful dreams as they smile in their slumber. I pass them and enter the corridors of the facility. As I walk down the halls, the lights flicker on. Step, click, step, click, like a trail of fluorescent stars.

Soon, I arrive at the end of the hall. Room 23356, dream room. Ah, yes, this room will take you to a place of heavy conscience. A place you can never forget for reasons of good or bad. I had it made up to help soldiers with PTSD cope and accept the traumatic expenses of their life. I wonder where the dream room will take me.
