~Sun's Realm, Morning Star City
Bell's POVI had received basic knowledge of this world from that mysterious man from before and this proved to be extremely helpful.
Just the fact that I was able to bypass several dangerous spots where bandits and fire beasts and elementals could possibly ambush me resulting in my potential death was already very helpful.
Coupled with the fact that I had found a safe route to the nearest city, Morning Star City, made this immensely beneficial to me.
On the road I had figured out several things.
One, the language used here was Baraktian
Two, the currency used here was Star Shards.
As for how to obtain them, they were virtually unobtainable unless you were the [World Will], which was, as the name puts it, the will of the world.
These Star Shards are created by the [World Will] and distributed, backed by it.
As to their use, I had no idea.
However, when I looked into my sling bag which I had brought along, it in was 100,000 Star Shards!
Just 1,000 Could sustain me for over a hundred years! years so I was quite happy with that mysterious man's generosity!
Along with the Star Shards came a note; on it were the words "Don't disappoint me Bell! I expect you to pass this. Remember the time limit. Should you fail you will be of no use to me. Fight on!"
I sigh inwardly as I fold the note.
~5 Hours later
I had finally arrived at Morning Star City!
As I walked around the streets, the sights made me pleasantly surprised.
Blacksmith shops, Magic Shops, Apothecaries, Weapons Shops, Sculpting Shops, Restaurants all lined the streets.
You name it, you'd most likely be able to find the shop here!
Of course, this was to be expected from the Morning Star City with it being one of the biggest cities in the realm!
What was even more shocking was the citizens of this realm!
People with flaming wings sprouting from their backs, Flame Golems, Uni-Horns and many more races filled the streets to the brim!
At first I felt as if the people here looked weird but looking at the situation now, it seemed to be the opposite!
To these people, I was the one who looked like a country bumpkin, staring amazingly at the structures like a lunatic...
I stumbled across a shop named "Skills Books and Magicks" and decided to take a look inside.
Inside I saw an old man lying dejectedly on the counter, his expression brightened at my arrival.
"Welcome esteemed customer to my humble shop! Please take your time and choose! The items are all at half price!" He said excitedly to me.
I could see that behind his back he had his fingers crossed, hoping I would buy something.
"I'll take a look around, if I need your help I'll call for you."
"Yes sir!" The man replied without a hint of wavering.
With my skill [Appraisal X] (A/N Skills & Gifts are different with the main difference being skills can be learnt/taught/stolen while one is born with gifts and can't be stolen with a few exceptions) that I had obtained from headmaster were of exceptional help.
