Hallway.

"So you guys are like the best magic people in the school?" Belle exclaimed in amazement, her face showing wonderment and joy.

Nicholas had a sheepish smile,"I wouldn't say that...I mean..."

"Mhm, yes we are. Hey are you free tonight do you wan-" Sebastian was elbowed in the side by Lucia who had a deadpan look saying 'Stop flirting with her'.

"Anyway! We need to get going! This will be our last stop for the day!" Ariana said, grabbing ahold of Belle's hand,"C'mon Belle the others will catch up with us later!"

"O-okay!" Belle said running off with Ariana.

Once they left, Lucia turned to the two,"What the hell?"

"What?" Sebastian asked.

"Is something wrong?" Nicholas was confused too.

"Listen up you two. We had a plan that consisted of getting information out of her, not flirting or asking her out!" Lucia hissed.

"Aw c'mon Lucie! Did you see her face? That was pure unfiltered joy. She's not faking it." Sebastian said.

"I agree with Sebastian."

Lucia facepalmed,"You've both fallen for her haven't you?"

The pair looked to each other.

"..."

"..."

Lucia groaned,"Oh my god. What the fuck? Are you serious? You've known her for exactly one hour now and you already have a crush? For Sebastian, maybe.  But Nicholas? Nicholas?! What's gotten into you? Let me remind you that both of you have thousands of fans worldwide and many would be willing to be with you. And you pick her? Her?!"

"Oh come on Lucia, why are you so hung up on this? Are you a lesbian? Are you jealous of us?" Sebastian wiggled his eyebrows suggestively.

"Oh fuck you. I like men thank you very much. But you don't see me acting like a god damned puppy following them around do you?"

"Okay, okay. I get it. You're saying we should find out if she's trustworthy first before making a move. Is that what you're getting at?" Nicholas inquired.

Lucia sighed,"At the very least, yes."

"Okay then. I'll control myself. Sebastian, wait for the green light, okay?" Nicholas said.

Sebastian grumbled but nodded, his face darkened,"...Let's get going."

"Nn. To the Trial Chamber. Headmaster's waiting on us."

The trio entered the Trial Chambers just as Ariana finished her conversation with the headmaster.

"Ah you've arrived. Welcome my top performing students to the trial chambers where we are about to witness history."

"History? What do you mean?" Nicholas asked.

"One of the perks I have when taking care of Belle is that I can test her. Ah- reminds me. I'll explain. So you are elites of the generation,  am I correct?"

"Yes, what about it?" Lucia answered.

"Among the hundred and thirty-five other elites, you rank in the top twenty-five and are around level three hundred, is that correct?"

"Yes."

"Yet, you only have access to three to four elements and a few variations. Why is that?"
