"Come. Sit. We must make haste. Call Gracie here." Nathan said with a with a worried face.
Minutes later, everyone was gathered, including Avagon and the cloaked figure whom was revealed to be a representative of 'Crimson Sea', an underworld assassin guild.
"What is happening? Please. Tell us." Avagon said in a quiet voice, no longer arrogant, knowing this possible future enemy would spell instant death for him no matter what he did right now.
"She is no longer Belle. She is a monster. That is what she is. An ungodly monster far beyond the level of cruelty displayed by the likes of Demonic Underworld or what you call Demonic Descent."
"What do you mean?" Jamie asked.
"I will summarise. Due to the blow from Avagon, I finally regained my memory. Belle is actually made up of seven people, not counting the original body. These people were born during the 'Unfeeling Era' where, as the name suggests, was a time where people lost all emotions. However these seven were peculiar, they could feel feelings, experience pain and make connections. They had complete control over their individual powers and were aces in this era of peace where fights never broke out."
"Then, unknowingly, their powers resonated with each others' and due to something, they imploded, the implosions' power blocked off the view of the sky in all the worlds for days on end. Then, they stopped. They thought whatever happened was resolved."
"Was it?" Gracie asked.
"No. It wasn't. Instead, this- was the beginning. You see, these people were actually absorbed by someone ascending to actual godhood, not our stage full god, but an actual god. A demigod, that is. The demigod of Apocalypse. This demigod was Belle. She used this power to ravage the thirteen worlds, resulting in the connection between the thirteen worlds being completely and utterly devastated. Of course, she has a signature- wherever she struck- in full power, a bell would ring. A low bass tone signalling the death of whomever was around. Thus, after her true name was found, Belle Trine, they nicknamed this goddess, Bloodbath Belle. Of course, ironically, her attacks, saved many villains and many worshipped her. So at this point, the phrase 'Saved by the Bell' was coined by these people."
"Then, why isn't she killing now?" Jamie inquired.
"Funny you should ask. Did you know, last time, our combined population between all races was a hundred fold of what we are at now? Yes, it took a thousand years of battle and a ninth of our wit and population before Belle fell. At the very least, her soul was knocked out of her original body and into another. And that was the end of it. We, the Duo Seven, infamous for having weird ways of dealing with enemies, managed to seal off Belle's powers, but in doing so, became her puppets holding portions of her power. But it looks like she's taken back what's rightfully hers. Now, we are on a race against the clock. We have to find someway to kill her before she regains complete godhood. If not, the thirteen worlds as we know it, may be facing the first of many doomsdays. Right now, she has two fifteenth of her power. We have to strike. And strike fast." Nathan finished with a grim look.
The situation right now was not looking pretty.
"W-we gave her an item she might have been looking for..." Jamie timidly brought up.
"What! What item? What did it resemble!" Nathan shouted.
He had an item in mind and if it truly was that, the chances of them making through alive would drop dramatically.
"She called it the Crow of Unjust." Rica replied.
Nathan slumped back, clearly mentally exhausted beyond belief.
"The situation has gotten worse. She has it." Nathan said, taking huge deep breaths of air in a futile attempt to calm himself down.
"The Crow...it's...terrifying...did any of you touch it..." Nathan asked, staring at Rica and Jamie.
"I-I touched it..." Jamie said,"It can't be that bad right?...Right?"
"We must kill him." Nathan roared, ready to pounce at Jamie.
"Nathan! Stop!" Gracie shouted, she had been keeping quiet till now, Gracie held back Nathan whom was in a frenzy.
"Explain why we need to kill an innocent man?" Gracie asked, soothing Nathan.
"The crow...it's...a curse bearing item...whomever touches it besides it's owner becomes a puppet of the master...we...the fourteen of us...were forced to touch it to seal her...as a final show of power, she changed out our memories of her and made us worship her leaving only a cryptic memory of "Soon". That boy has become her puppet...he has...he has...he has become a mindless puppet Gracie! We must kill him!" Nathan roared angrily.
"We are willing to lend our strength for the sake of the Oceanic Reefs. I feel we may have gotten off on the wrong foot. I am Avagon Kyre, the son of Poseidon who has killed his father. I deserve no respect but my only motive for doing so was to prevent the upcoming war my father was trying to start." The man, Avagon spoke up in he midst of the drama.
"Why did you submit then." Rica asked,"You could have ran."
"We were forced to. It was her power over us." The hooded figure said.
Then, Jamie started frothing at the mouth, his eyes turning white before rolling back.
"Oh a dilemma is it not? To kill the husband in front of his very own wife or to leave that husband- a puppet of mine alive? What a loud bunch you are! A mysterious woman from Crimson Sea, a Prince of Oceania Reefs, two of my disciples, a hydra who has turned against me and a good for nothing husband whose only purpose is to serve as a puppet for my personal enjoyment! Do recruit more into your ranks Nathan dearie! I do look forward to you bunch of misfits! And remember, now that i'm back, some people need to die...I am well aware that you know of my familiar signature? Well, I'll be sure to make some time to wreak havoc whilst finding the others yes? Be sure to give me a challenge when the time comes or you'll end up in a place far, far worse than Demonic Descent. Ta ta my dearies!" The sickly sweet voice came from Jamie's mouth before his eyes rolled once again and he slumped backwards with Rica catching him.
"We. Have. To. Kill. Him. Now." Nathan spoke lowly, his teeth gritted.
"I'll take responsibility! If he attacks anyone, you can kill him! Hell, i'll kill him myself okay? So please...just let him off..." Rica shouted at Nathan.
With help from Gracie's pleadings, Nathan gave in.
"Come. We must inform Crimson Sea. Perhaps, we may receive assistance." The cloaked figure said while rising.
And so, the group stood up, the tension between them almost visible.
To the rest of the population, it was a bright, ordinary day.
To them?
It was the start of something big.
Something so horrendously terrifying that even with the one's greatest imagination, one still wouldn't be able to picture.
Picture what?
The bloodshed that was about to come.
The words Belle had said still ringing fresh within their minds.
They knew, that whatever promise she made, no matter how minuscule or colossal, she would follow through.
Yet, they had never imagined, that in less than a year, Oceania Reefs as they knew it, would become a wasteland, devoid of life.
