Micah woke up and brushed his teeth with a whitening paste which had been given to by Chloe recently.
After fixing himself breakfast, he left immediately for work.
Currently the schedule he had worked out for himself was quite packed.
Four days working at Belle's, two for his part-time job as an adventurer and one to unwind.
Today was the first month anniversary since his hiring by Belle.
Calling out to Belle that he had arrived, Micah sat himself down at the counter.
Though Micah had been working for a month now, he hadn't talked to Belle much.
The only time he saw Belle was at the end of the week when he received his wages and the only time he talked to her was during the first week when he had questions.
The only indications that Belle was even there would be the fact that the weapons were restocked daily, custom weapons were made and the sound of some kind of metalwork was heard behind the door.
The door was a wondrous place to Micah.
It was like a treasure you couldn't quite reach, a jewel just out of sight.
Everyday, when the customers were low, Micah would spend his time lazing about, thinking of all the things that could be hidden behind that door.
At this point, a man walked into the shop with a bunch of menacing looking people following behind him.
Micah's heart tightened in anxiety, griped through and through by fear.
This man was one of the A ranked adventurers, [ShocKing], a play on words of the words 'shock' and 'king'.
He was Timothy Drews, a lightning based swordsman and Micah's childhood bully.
"Yo, little Micah boy." Timothy said with a grin, his voice hoarse and gravelly sounding.
"E-esteemed customers! What w-would you like to p-p-purchase today?" Micah replied shakily, putting on the best forced smile he could do.
"Oh nothing...I've heard good things about this place and I want to place a custom weapon request is all..." Timothy replied.
"W-what kind of weapon will it be sir?" Micah asked.
"I want the best you've got, a pseudo lighting divine armament."
Micah flipped the book open and replied,"T-that'll be a t-ten rhodium coins sir..."
Timothy heard the price and grinned,"Say...could you give me...A discount?"
"A d-discount?"
"Mhm...What say...Five rhodium coins?" Timothy asked.
Micah shook his head,"I'm sorry sir...I really can't do that..."
Timothy's smile turned rigid, turning into a sneer,"You think you can say no to me, an A ranked adventurer? You're nothing but a common peasant that has no family left besides that whore receptionist!"
Timothy walked up towards Micah, grabbed his throat and slammed Micah onto the countertop.
Micah struggled vehemently to escape but to no avail, Timothy was just too strong.
"S-stop it!" Micah gasped for air.
Timothy chuckled,"You think you can get away with provoking me, Timothy Drews? If you had just given me the discount, you wouldn't be in this spot right now.
Then, he raised Micah's head and slammed it violently into the countertop, bashing Micah's nose in.
At this point, Chloe had walked in and saw Micah's bashing.
