~Peacock's Sombre Bar

I sip my drink as I listened in on the conversations around me.

Over five years had passed in the blink of an eye.

I had gotten to the Peak stage Sovereign level and finally had a place to call home.

Although it seemed as if the Sovereign and was a piece of cake to get to, it honestly wasn't.

I had spent five long years countlessly training and tempering my body, mind and soul.

This training was not something could do.

Even a 'normal' Sovereign could not withstand it.

In this world, a Sovereign was a very powerful character one.

Usually, such a character was the head of a prestigious guilds presiding over one of the five great kingdoms.

After all, there were only five Sovereigns in this realm!

Of these Sovereigns, three were early stage, one was middle stage and one was late stage.

The ruler of the realm was of course rumoured to be at the Early Paragon level making even the five Sovereigns in the entire realm unable to beat him.

Even then, I had no idea of who this mysterious entity that I had to kill, much less find.

Why was this?

It was due to me being completely ignorant to this world's affairs.

I was a complete outsider.

A stranger.

How could I be part of the politics of this world?

It was frustrating to say the least when you were given a goal and didn't know how to proceed to reach said goal.

The situation in the city was getting worse day by day.

In the past few years, unrest had been spreading, rumours of a potential warring period in the Sun Realm were prevalent.

It was a dark period of time for people in the Morning Star City where I lived.

People were constantly over-taxed, they were angry of course but after the head of a Middle Staged Full God was stuck onto a pike and displayed at the town square, no one could retaliate.

Morning Star City was ruled over by a middle stage full god who was crowned the [Violet Blood King] for his cruel and sadistic acts towards people who didn't subject to him.

Luckily, two days ago, a friend of mine, Casey Riley had progressed to Peak Stage Full God level and beat the [Violet Blood King] with astonishing ease.

We celebrated with him giving me a medallion basically giving me the same authority as Casey himself.

Then I saw two suspicious men.

Their certain conversation peaked my interest and I listened in on it.

It was a conversation between two dark robed people with hoods on their faces.

"Did you hear? [Sun's Will] is moving."

"If what you say is true then a Paragon may descend upon us at any moment. If said Paragon is unhappy with the people's actions he could wipe us out entirely. We must prepare. In the event of the supreme one's rising we have to take measures to appease him."
