Anger & Anguish

"Promise me one thing okay?..."

"You can do it!"

"Good night...Sebastian..."

Like a phantom in the wind, her voice rang loudly in Sebastian's fragile mind.

"Belle..." Sebastian whispered, a his vision blurry.

He was numb.

He didn't feel anything.

No pain.

No sorrow.

"Sebastian? Hey Sebastian! He's awake! Get the doctor!" A cloudy voice was heard.

But like lightning striking the ground, the painful memories flooded back, destroying his mind yet again as he was jolted from his lucid sleep.

"Guh!" Sebastian sat up from his bed in a pool of his own sweat.

"Oh thank god. You're fine. Don't worry us like that!" Nicholas sighed in relief.

"What...Happened?..." He asked, still feeling exhausted as his eyelids threatened to close at anytime.

"Wait...Where's Belle?..."

"..."

Deafening silence filled the room as the painful realisation that the events preceding this had truly occured.

"No...Oh god no...Please don't let it be true..." Sebastian was a total wreck as he grabbed Nicholas' lapel,"TELL ME!"

"TELL ME IT'S FAKE!" He screamed out of pure desperation.

Nicholas' face darkened as he lowered it.

"WHY ARE YOU KEEPING QUIET?! TELL ME WHERE SHE IS!" Sebastian roared.

"I...I can't tell you that...I can't have you live a lie. I-I'm sorry Sebastian. Belle...She gave up herself for your freedom. She's gone Sebastian."

Sebastian broke.

His already fragile state of mind was already at wits' end, standing on a knife's edge.

This was the breaking point.

All the anger within him dissipated as his grip on Nicholas loosened.

He fell lifelessly on the hospital, his face deathly pale.

"Is she...dead?" Sebastian asked quietly.

"Good lord Sebastian. You're like the goddamned optimist in our group. What the fuck has gotten into you? No she isn't dead...At least no news has co-"

"Lucia! Shut it!" Ariana hissed,"She's alive. I know it. She won't go down easy."

"Why? Why did she do it?" Sebastian whimpered quietly, like the life in him was completely drained.

His easygoing demeanour was long gone, replaced by this sombre, more serious person.

"That stupid idiot. She probably didn't want you getting hurt so she gave herself up instead."

"W-we need to find her. Yeah. I can't be here! I-I-I need to go out and find her! She's waiting for me!" Sebastian tried to move but was restrained by them.

"W-what? Let me go! I don't belong here! I need to find her!" Sebastian screamed as he thrashed wildly.

PAK!

A slap rang loudly in the room.

"LISTEN HERE YOU SELFISH PRICK! BELLE GAVE HERSELF UP FOR YOU! NOW DO YOU THINK SHE WOULD APPROVE OF YOU IGNORING YOURSELF FOR HER?!" Ariana screamed.
