Fighting an Ent

  I came out from the room, satisfied with my harvests this time round.

"I'll be strong enough to deal with those monsters easily by now! Let's go test my new powers out hehehe" I thought on the inside making me giggle for a while like a madman...

Then, I walk back down the halls after unsuccessfully searching for a new route to explore.

For some reason, the monsters are still crowded around the entrance of the hole that was made.

A monster that looked like a Demi-human looking lizard stood up, axe raised, poised and ready to fight.

However, it seemed as though he had noticed something and as I walked closer, it trembled and stepped back as if it feared me.

It seemed impossible.

No one from my knowledge has the ability to scare monsters to the point they'd rather move away than fight.

I stepped forward and the other monsters stepped back again.

Seeing that I didn't have to deal with them, I decided to use them as test subjects.

From the bloodline, I had gotten a few new abilities and had no idea what they were used for.

These abilities I had gotten were:

[Guardian Angel]

[Hellfire]

[Halo of Recovery]

[Heaven's Tribulation]

[Soul Eater Domain]

"Welp. Here goes." I raised my hand and shouted "[Hellfire]!" and the results were immediate.

From the tips of my fingers, two coiling dragons shot out, made from dark crimson flames.

The dragons seemed small but then they got into contact with that previous lizard Demi-human monster and he quickly burnt up and turned into ashes.

The monsters started to slowly step forward as if angered by the loss of their comrade.

I was cornered so I decided to use my second skill to see what it does.

I lazily shout,"[Guardian Angel]! Go~!"

Nothing seemed to happen but suddenly, I felt a strange growth from my back.

I looked behind and saw wings.

Two colossal, golden, gentle angel wings.

I felt that moving them became as easy as moving a limb and it just felt like extra arms or legs.

It felt weird at the start but got used to it pretty fast.

"Wings eh? Well let's see what they're good for~" I say to no one in particular except for myself.

I move the wings to my from so that it envelops me completely.

At this point, the monsters have gained back their courage to fight me seeing that my wings looked to be fragile.

However, the moment they touched me, it seemed as if something descended from the hallway's ceilings and struck them with light from the heavens.

It was not as effective as [Hellfire] but it seriously injured the monsters and killed off the undead inclined ones.

"Damn straight, these wings are awesome!"

Then, some thoughts regarding the wings passed my mind.
