Rica woke up in an unfamiliar room.
Completely alert, her hand shot to her side only to realise her sword was gone.
Looking around, she saw her weapons lying beside on the cupboard
Then, she realised she had been changed by someone, making her blush.
She was currently in an ankle length snow white gown.
Opening the cupboard, she found fresh sets of folded clothes and her old one's washed and ironed.
Dressing into her old clothes and dawning her gear, she walked out the room.
Closing the door behind her, she saw the words 'guest room' engraved onto the door.
Stepping into the hallway, she saw a girl, around the age of fourteen, swimming around, cleaning up the trash floating in the hallway, humming a tune.
After reaching down and picking a piece of paper up, she looked up and saw Rica.
Gasping, she patted down her shirt and curtsied,"Honoured guest."
Rica nodded,"Where are the others?"
"They have gathered in the banquet hall, except for the other two ladies and the man. They're still in their rooms."
"Thank you."
"It it my pleasure."
-----
Walking into the banquet hall, Rica saw Jamie and the rest discussing something all the while eating.
Walking up to them, she sat down,"What's the situation."
"Bad. Real bad." Nathan answered,"The gag order didn't play out too good considering we were trying to hide the destruction of a city. Citizens are in a state of paranoia after they were evacuated from Krynoth. Right now, the only people that know of the actual threat level are us. We have to do something, and fast. She gave us six months to prepare. We had better make the most of it."
"I will be coronated today, to be the one to carry the citizen's burdens and lighten the situation." Avagon added on.
"Firstly, we need to address the citizens. What do we do? Tell the truth, or lie?" Avagon asked aloud.
"Surely the people know something big has happened. If a city was replaced by a crater overnight and then surrounded by guards, what would you assume? That a f*cking group of piss poor bandits did that? Best case scenario, would be them thinking a guild was rebelling. But that doesn't explain away the crater innit? Furthermore, as you so kindly told us, my dear Avagon, the bloody trident has been wedged in the middle of it all and no one can pull the bloody thing out!" Jamie shouted at Avagon.
"Very well, we shall tell them half the truth and half the lie." Avagon said,"Next, we obviously cannot defeat such a being by ourselves. We need more people. More recruits. Furthermore, we are sticking as a group now. We need a name, a symbol of hope for the people to bring them even a minuscule silver lining in this dark age."
"We need to visit Jeremiah. The aide of the late Poseidon and the only S ranked adventurer in available in Oceania Reefs. He's also the only person who could harm Poseidon." Quentin added.
"But here's the single problem. He's an adventurer and he's old. Like on the brink of death old." Avagon pointed out,"From what I have gathered, those things labelled as 'rank cards' are just devices in which she can control them with. Just coming into contact with one once is enough to stay a slave for the rest of one's life."
"So what other choices do we have? Don't name the useless ones." Nathan hissed.
"There are only two choices I have come up with and they're not pretty. At best, we might stun her for a while at worst, we could bring another world down with us." Avagon spoke.
