As the swords fell down right into Belle's hands, it felt as if that split second in between had taken a thousand years.
It felt as if everything they dreaded was about to take place, and there was nothing they could do about it.
Holding the two swords upright, Belle stared down at the panicking merfolk.
Then, from that small little figure of hers, an aura of majesty burst forth, a brilliant golden.
"[Purple Sins]! [Pride]!" Belle whispered.
Then, another aura burst forth, this time it was jet black.
"[Fusion]!" Belle screamed.
It was as if the two were mixing together, forming a clear aura of transparency.
Then, the aura, now barely visible, covered Belle and her swords, turning the swords into two things which looked to be made out of glass.
They looked fragile, but no one dared go forth to test the theory out.
"We have to attack before she gets fully powered up!" Nathan roared, running in perfect sync with Gracie and jumping up to claw at Belle.
"Now!" Quentin shouted as he extended his tentacles to strike at Belle whilst Gracie and Nathan swiped her with their claws.
Ferociously, they clawed and whittled at her but Belle did nothing but stand there, motionlessly, smiling at Quentin.
Minutes later, they dodged back, yet Belle did nothing but stand there.
She was a wreck.
Two legs completely torn off, a hole in her stomach and thousands of scratches.
Then, Belle cracked her neck, as if uncomfortable saying,"Don't you know it's rude to not let the lady go first? Ah i'll let you off this time. I really want to kill people!" As she took the white swords flicking them into the air.
The swords turned into two contraptions they had never seen before.
It had an 'L' shape to it, with a trigger at the right angle.
Holding the two contraptions, Belle smiled and shot herself.
The moment she did rapidly descended onto the ground.
Boom.
A loud bang was heard as a gigantic crater was made.
Dust filled the air and no one could see.
After a while, something came out from the dust.
Belle.
She was completely recovered, skin and clothes even.
This time, she was holding one sword, a sword maxing out at two point five meters and a crimson red colour with that mysterious clear aura completely encompassing it.
Holding out her empty right hand, she chanted an unknown word before a dark crow statuette appeared before her, about the height of five centimetres.
"Agatha..." A loud wail was heard by the citizens of Anemone City, coming from the Kraken.
Then, Belle pressed the statuette into the sword.
"NOOOOOO!" Another ghastly wail renounced in the barrier.
The sword now had the imprint of a crow on it.
