The entire matter was covered in a tight blanket by governments worldwide, no information was spread to the world.

As far as the world was concerned, N was on the brink of being found and his victims were safe.

How did they know N was a man?

They managed to decrypt the voice changer via certain spells and machineries.

And now, the three were heading down to the Feliywyn Istaria, the building housing state of the art technology not yet released for public use.

"So this is the original. We took a few videos and mismatched them."

"Hello? Hello, hello! N speaking! AHAHAHAHA! Ooh~! Little miss Belle!" That same robotic voice Sebastian was so used to hearing was played.

"That's him alright." Sebastian said grimly.

"Now we're playing the decrypted one. Please listen carefully and tell us if you know or recognise the voice in question."

"Noted." Nicholas answered.

They had finally met up, after he returned, appearing to be quite worried about Belle.

The recording played once again.

The voice sounded so familiar, yet the tone was on a whole other spectrum of psychotic.

It seemed like the robotic voice masked the true insanity of the person, from the voice to the laugh, nothing screamed normal to them.

Ariana froze up, clearly the first to recognise the voice.

"Ari? You okay?" Lucia asked.

"Is something wrong? Do you know who it is?!" Sebastian asked.

Ariana nodded slowly,"I...I think I might...But...It can't be..."

"Tell us! We need to investigate every possibility!" Lucia urged urgently.

"M'am, we would appreciate your fullest cooperation."

Ariana nodded, taking her phone out,"S-Sebastian...Do these two voices sound alike?"

Another recording from Ariana's phone played.

"Hello! Welcome to our humbled academy year one students! We warmly welcome you to join our ranks to become a true magic caster!-"

Sebastian nodded slowly,"If you take out the laugh...It sounds almost identical...Who is it?"

Lucia's serious look similarly stiffened, realising who it was.

"I-It's him..." Ariana whispered.

"I-I'm sorry?" Sebastian was unsure of what Ariana had spouted, despite having clearly heard what she said.

"I-It's Nicholas..." Lucia whispered,"Oh my god it's him."

Sebastian blanked out.

Questions raced through his mind, gone in a heartbeat as they were replaced by yet another.

Quiet chuckles came from the back, the group turned to see Nicholas' back, trembling mightily.

Clicks sounded as the guards surrounding them aimed their firearms at him.

"Ohohohohohoho....Fufufufufu....Looks like i've been foiled! Hehehe...Hehehehe...AHAHAHAHA!" Nicholas laughed with an psychotically.

Sebastian saw red, knowing full well that the person before him, a former comrade, a friend, had betrayed them.
