[Memories Released. Power surging.]

Tears dripped down Belle's face as she smiled.

The man chuckled,"How has it been, young friend. How does being immortal feel? Do you regret your choices?"

Belle grinned fearlessly, her tears a stark contrast as she laughed,"Heh...To think that you'd leave me in solitude for so long. So, so long."

"Hohoho. Are you content now?"

Belle nodded,"I have waited an aeon. This curse you've placed on me...I..."

The man laughed,"I am but a spirit now, a shadow of my former self. After so long, we've learn how to forgive and forget, haven't we?"

They stood in silence.

"This it for me huh? My eternal loop. From getting my soul knocked into a boy, to killing my own wife and friends. Again, and again. And again. It's finally over." Genuine joy sprouted on Belle's face.

"We all lust for power, Belladonna. I simply gave you a punishment for disobeying your father."

Belle laughed,"To punish your own kid for a literal aeon...You're the worst."

"I've always been a bad dad. My kid turned out just as bad."

"..."

"..."

"Your curse will end here, Belladonna Trinity. By sunset, your very being will be erased from the minds of everyone. It will be as if you never existed. You will not be remembered as a hero, nor as a villain. You will be forgotten. You will no longer be...Of this world."

Belle laughed shakily,"Hah...Even after so long, i'm still scared of something." Her voice trembled greatly.

The man laughed along,"Don't be scared, my child. You won't be alone. I won't ever leave your side."

He pulled Belle into a tight embrace, a reassuring warmth enveloping her.

"Come, let us watch the sun set together." They both sat down, hand in hand.

"Any regrets?" He asked.

Belle shook her head,"I have none. You'd be surprised at how much i've accomplished in these years."

"Heh...Still bragging down to the last moment huh?"

"Like father like daughter." Belle joked.

"Like father like daughter."

"I've always wondered how this would go down." Belle stared into the brilliant orange orb as she heard him talk.

"Yeah?"

"I thought you'd loathe me for this. But this...This is never expected. It's much better to send your own daughter off if she likes you."

"It's much easier to forgive when you have a literal aeon to reflect."

"Touché, my child. Touché."

"It'll all be all be over in a few minutes." Belle said, her hair flowing behind her, the wind caressing her face gently,"It's strange to think, really."

"All i've done will have been for nothing. Yet...yet I feel like a burden's been lifted off my shoulders."

"Rest easy, my Belladonna, it will all be over soon."

Two minutes to sundown.

"Make sure that another me never happens again, okay?"

"I promise."

"Make sure that this universe is prosperous, okay?"

"My baby's made a universe. I'll be sure to look after it." He gently kissed the top of Belle's head.

Ten seconds.

"And dad?"

"Yeah?"

"I love you. I really mean it this time." Belle whispered.

"I love you too."

"At least...You'll remember me..."

The sun was out of view.

Beside the man, only a single item laid there.

A silver bell.

He picked it up carefully, repressed tears flooding out, dripping onto the floor as he held the bell to his heart.

Emotions that he had never felt rushed into him, wave after wave crashed into him, memories, feelings, everything.

It was all over now.

He could finally rest now.

His daughter had passed on peacefully, just like he wished.

It was okay to go now.

And silently, the man shambled away, his body turning more incorporeal as it went.

And thus, this day marked the end of one Belle Trinity.

A tale of betrayal, heroism and villainy ended not with a bang...

But with solemn words.

Whether it's an eucatastrophe or ending you feel left out too much, it is purely up to you.
