Two weeks later.
"Well Joel? You ready?" Gracie asked.
"Yep. Mia and I will be at the side waiting. Give us the order when you need us."
"Mm. Right then. I'll call you when Arceus heads out."
After Rhodes' order, preparations for war had immediately started.
Joel finally met up with Gracie and they managed to formulate a plan to crush the supposed 'Freedom Army' of the three masterminds.
The plan was simple.
They had three people at level nine to ten thousand.
Now with Gracie, Joel and the head priests on board plus the king?
They now had four people at level ten thousand, three and nine thousand and one at seven.
With the nobles in hand, armies were easy to get ahold of and the literal mountain of Rhodium coins left by Belle as a parting gift and four weapons imparted by her unto the Elves, weapons and armour were not a problem.
So all they needed to do was a single rush.
It seemed simple...But...Coordinating at least a hundred million troops proves challenging, even for the high priests.
So now, the original four were heading back with Joel and Mia, to help draft a better, improved version of the plan where the humans could be corroborated into helping.
Now, Arceus was about to break the news.
--------
Throne room.
"Your majesty, Prince Elliot has arrived." A guard announced.
Chester felt a load was removed from his shoulders as he grinned,"Ladies and Gentlemen. We are now confident this war will end in our victory with minimal infighting."
"Your majesty, with all due respect, this scenario seems highly implausible." A marquis spoke up.
"Indeed. What Marquis Strodham brought up is quite a valid assumption. What can you do to prove your statement?"
"Thank you, Duke Winsor."
Chester waved his hand,"Quiet down. I know you all have your doubts. But I can assure you, I am confident. A few weeks back, I sent my Son on a secret investigation. He said he would come back with a way to combat this war within five months. Now that he's come back early, I can assure you, this will be good new. Guards! Open the doors!"
"Yes! Your majesty!" The Guards complied, pulling the doors open.
In strolled a boy, no older than twenty two.
"The court greets Prince Elliot." The nobles began to greet.
"Arceus. You've returned."
"Yes I have Father. I bring joyous news." Arceus replied with a smile.
Chester suppressed his smile but a faint grin could be seen as he covered his mouth with his hand,"Speak."
"Well...Honestly the news is both good and bad."
"What? What do you mean?"
