Dwarf Caverns, Residential Area

All the dwarves stood still, staring blankly at the air, not a single sound was made.

They were scared out of their wits to say the least.

After all, who would be able to stay calm when a loved one had such a high chance of dying?

Bell's mouth was pressed into a grim line, the situation did not look good.

From all that he had researched, the [Killjoy Jewel] was impervious to practically all cures and was basically incurable.

However, he didn't know if his laws would work.

He had the law [Faith].

This law was formulated by him after he witnessed the reincarnation cycle and the death cycle.

The law [Faith] gives the ability to either heal a person from the brink of death or kill them while they were in perfect health.

However, with this miraculous law also came a side effect when reviving a person.

That side effect being the curse inflicted onto the revived person, [Absolute Disintegration].

What was [Absolute Disintegration]?

It was the curse which completely wipe out a person's skills, spells and the like basically making the person a clean slate.

Furthermore, the person's life will be lessened by at least 10 years and will be unable to learn anymore skills, spells etc.

This was the heavy price to pay for revival.

Bell explained this to the dwarves before asking them,"I can help save your kin, this I can promise. However, they will be rendered mortals. Unable to learn the art of crafting, unable to hunt, to grow stronger. This, luckily, is not hereditary and will not be passed down to the next generation. But, I ask you this, are you truly, truly willing to see your child, a wonderful, bag of delights, become a useless thing, unable to learn or do anything? If you are willing, I will revive them for you without hesitation. If you are not, I will refrain for the moment. Secondly, I will have to ask your children themselves if they are willing. If they are, again, I will revive them, however if they are not, I will refrain. Their opinion will be the last call. It is their life, not yours anyways."

The dwarves nodded at Bell's words, everyone agreed that whatever their children do, they will unconditionally support.

All the dwarves here agreed to have their children saved.

Bell nodded at them, saying,"Very well, I will save them then. Let us go forth and save them!"

"YES SIR!" The dwarves replied enthusiastically, in high spirits knowing that their children were about to be saved.

Many dwarves went to Quincy's side asking who that young man was, eager to know his origin.

Quincy simply replied,"[Monarch God], our benefactor and the reason we have this cavern."

The dwarves were all speechless, unable to believe that the young man they saw was sitting at the apex of the world, ruling over the sixteen realms.

Soon, they all arrived at the place the [Killjoy Jewel] was held.

Everyone sucked in deep breaths, still in disbelief that this exquisite gemstone was the cause of their children and some adults' disappearance.
