"Ugh..." I mumbled out, my eyes still sensitive to the sunlight.

Rubbing the sleep out of them, I get out of bed.

"What the hell happened last night?..." I ask out loud just as memories of yesterday flood back to me like a tidal wave sweeping me off my feet.

"No...No way..." I dashed to the mirror like my life depended on it.

Pulling apart my shirt, I stare at the small purple tattoo smack dab in the middle of my collarbone.

I stagger back, my butt hitting the floor as I looked in utter disbelief.

Then, I knew I had to confront them.

Running down the stairs, I see both my mums doing average mum stuff like sitting Belle snuggling up to Gracie as they watch Tv.

I stalk up to them,"Mum? What happened last night?"

Belle gives me a gentle look,"I told you she wasn't ready! She needed a few more years." I heard her whisper loudly.

Gracie gives her a deadpan look,"We agreed on this."

Belle rolls her eyes,"Fine, I'll bring Vivi. See you later babe."

I look away as they kiss, my poor virgin eyes cannot take it,"Please, your teenage daughter is distressing over something and you're making out. Great. Oh my poor eyes. Give me my innocence back."

Belle folds her arms,"Hey, don't complain now. If I see you making out with someone when you get older don't be shocked when I make fun of you. C'mon now, let's go on a trip."

"Not the time mum. Explain this to me please?" I ask as I point to the tattoo.

Belle tilts her head, god she looks cuter than me, half the time my relatives can't tell who the mother,"I thought I made it pretty straightforward?"

"Straightforward? What?" I ask.

"It's pretty simple. Magic exists, I gave you and Noah the power travel between two worlds, well technically two planets. You press on the tattoo and chant world and bam. Pretty simple right?"

Instead of freaking out, I felt like everything had become clearer, like a part of me that was locked away had been released from captivity.

My eyes shined with fervour, but I remained cautious,"There's no catch?"

Belle shook her head,"Nope. I like to think I'm not one of those stupid old ladies that tell people there's so much to do then follow up by dying."

"Thank f*ck for that. I would not want to wake up knowing you two died for the sake of telling me magic exists."

"However, that doesn't mean there's no consequences."

"Hm?" I turn to Belle who suddenly had a serious look on her face.

"You can tell anyone you want, you can show magic to anyone. But if you remember...That."

Yes, that...That thing that I kept suppressed since yesterday.

My face turned slightly pale as I struggled to keep everything down.

I wiped the sweat from my brow,"Yeah?...What about that...?"

"Well if you show it to the wrong people, you might be caught in the crossfire of a war many countries will be apart of that might get you killed. It'll have more of an impact that you can imagine."
