Joel and Mia found themselves in a forest.

It was dense and sunlight flittered through the green canopy irregularly.

Insects buzzed around, beasts lurked just out of sight.

"Wow...This forest is...it's majestic..." Joel breathed out incredulously.

"Nn..." Mia answered, looking around.

"Well, we'll be better off looking around for something...Wait-" Joel pulled out [Green Jewel] but couldn't react fast enough.

"My, my. You've managed to reach the end?" Belle whispered into Joel's ear.

Joel sighed in relief,"Oh...It's you...Thank you..."

Belle waved her hand dismissively,"No worries, no worries. It's all fine. I bet you're wondering what the deal is with the Guardian thing?"

Joel and Mia nodded.

"Simple. You promised remember? You'd protect this person no matter the cost. Now you're a protector. So meanwhile, you'll be unable to progress along your power until you find this person..." Belle giggled behind her hand.

Joel's face turned thoughtful,"Okay then...Where is this person? More importantly...Who is this person?"

"This person's fated to find you. All you need to do right now is sit tight and they'll come to you. As for who they are...Her name's Gracie Valencia. I'll be appointing you as a high priest of my church...Heh...You'll be experiencing the high life my boy."

Joel nodded again,"Okay...Okay...So I'll be a high priest....Wait...High priest? What? I never agreed to this!"

Belle grinned mischievously,"Have you forgotten? You're the apostle. I'm the goddess. You listen to my commands silly. Now I command you to be a high priest and wait! Of course, miss Mia there can accompany you if she chooses..."

Joel's felt lightheaded.

He had been tricked by a goddess.

He should have known that this would happen.

Giving himself a mocking smile, he had no choice but to accept it.

Furthermore, Belle had done more for him than he could ever repay in a lifetime.

Letting him find the one and also reviving him, albeit at a cost.

Becoming a high priest was nothing compared to what she did.

Joel begrudgingly accepted,"Alright..."

"You'll be living the high life. Trust me."

"So what am I supposed to do there? Do I have to do anything that'll go against my morals?"

"Well, I command you to follow the rules of the church! And secondly, you must not seek out the protected on your own or get someone else to do it for you. I've prepared a little...Game...Thirdly, you'll be in Elvenheim, place of the Elves."

Joel's eyes showed unconcern, he didn't care about anything besides Mia, Belle and Gracie.

Those were the three important people in his life.
