In a common town, far from the life in big cities, Belle was sitting inside a small smithy.

She had, after several years spent at Hestia's trial, finally completed it.

However, no matter how many lessons she learnt, she still needed time to absorb it.

As such, she changed her appearance into that of an ordinary looking common girl and entered the village.

After buying a small workshop for herself for working on small projects and for self contemplation, Belle settled down in this rural village, far from the loud and vibrant capital life.

As she was lazing around in at the counter, a young boy, around the age of fifteen, walked in.

Belle's eyes turned towards the boy,"Welcome to my shop, take a look around. If you have any questions, feel free to ask."

The boy nodded his head nervously and took out a parchment,"Uh actually...I came here to apply for a job you put out...I'm wondering if you can call the owner?..."

Belle gave the boy a once-over, looking at his somewhat muscular physique, she approved and bobbed her head,"You're hired."

"I'm sorry?" The boy asked.

"I'm the owner here. Wage's a silver an hour." Belle said.

The boy was at a loss for words but quickly regained his sense and put out his hand,"My name is Micah Belfrey! Pleased to meet you boss!"

Belle nodded, shaking his trembling hand,"Belle. Belle Trinity. You can start work tomorrow."

Micah nodded,"S-so what should I do?"

"Pretty simple stuff really. In the morning, when you get here, move the materials in the warehouse next door and separate them. After that, man the counter. Prices are all recorded in the book. It'll do you good if you can remember them. If I have anything else for you to do, you'll get a bonus for every errand you run for me. Simple?" Belle said in the most simplified manner.

Education in this world was still considered quite good.

People could do simple arithmetics and speak, read and understand the main language, english compared to other places where normal lessons were only reserved for royalty and nobility.

"Yes!" Micah replied.

Belle stood up from the counter and tossed Micah a small gem,"If you meet any rowdy customers, this should be enough to cull them. Try not to kill them. If you need help with it, the manual is with the pricing record."

Micah caught the small gem and held it tightly, his eyes showing confusion at how a small gem could possibly stop someone.

"I do have to inform you though, the gem'll only be usable by me and you. Furthermore, you'll find yourself unable to leave if you have the gem on you." Belle said,"Well, that's about it. I'll be in the basement. I'll close today for you to get adjusted. You'll start tomorrow at nine sharp."

Micah nodded and bowed to Belle as she walked out.

"Boss...She's a strange one. Opening a shop here though she's so young...Ah well, better get to work," Micah thought as he started cleaning the main room.

Soon he sat down at the counter after cleaning up.

"Let's see here...A book next to the pricing list...Ah! Here it is. A guide to using the Smithy Gem." Micah muttered as he read the cover.

The further he read, the more amazed her became.

It turned out that this [Smithy Gem] might very well be a legendary divine armament found in big cities.
