Myths of the Guardian and Trinity

"Are we all set your highnesses?" James asked, climbing atop his horse, his leg jittering excitedly at the thought of people getting interested in his research and these people were some of the most prominent in their generation to boot!

One was a prince with rare attributes regarding magic, one was a princess with knowledge on swordsmanship and infusing of magic into divine armaments and one was the mysterious figure that swept the tournament with ease every year, growing at a rate so rapid even her opponents couldn't match up if they tried.

Just being near them made you a celebrity by proxy showed how popular they were, both with the men and women.

"Yep. We're good to go James." Gracie answered.

"Right then, we'll head to a town outside the borders of the empire, Wichen town was it? We'll hire some people to guide us there and to restock on food and refreshments too. Do some sightseeing and stuff." Arceus chipped in.

"Oh! I remember that there's a very new blacksmith there. The person's origins are unknown but their work is top notch. There are royalties from every corner of the empire scrambling to make this person a personal blacksmith of their kingdom. They make everything from normal weapons to extremely high grade divine armaments. They can even fulfil any custom requests to a tee!" James said with enthusiasm,"I've always wondered how high grade divine armaments are made. I've heard they're extremely expensive!"

Emma nodded,"Each one' enough to keep a small town's citizens stomachs full and thirst quenched while having enough money to spend on luxuries for five years! It's no wonder there're only a few in every kingdom considering how rare people who can produce these weapons of mass destruction are. I'm interested to see who this person is."

As they rode, James thought about something he had heard of this mysterious person,"Well this is only gossip and rumours I've heard from my buddies. Choose to believe it if you will but apparently within that shop, prestige, Honour and social standing don't matter. As long as you create trouble, you wouldn't be able to get out there unscathed. I heard that this noble from Grindelhelm went in and demanded an armament for free and he was never seen since then. Even the king of Grindlehelm gave a gift as a personal apology, not daring to even fight back. It's not confirmed but the thought of someone like that existing is scary..."

"Agreed." Emma answered.

"Oh yeah, James. You mind going more in depth in the topic of Guardian Protectors?" Gracie politely asked.

"Of course! We came out to research and potentially find one right? Well what do you want to know?" James replied in enthusiasm.

"Well I was wondering...These Guardian Protectors...How strong are they?"

"Well there are some fluctuations from story to story. One says they're as powerful as demigods. Another says they're born weak and through grit they manage to get stronger, but never to such an extent. Usually it's world shaking power yes, but galaxy shaking? Nope."

"I see...what about how they're made?" Emma asked.

"Hm...That one' a tricky question. You see, they're not made. Guardians are beings with emotions, feelings and instinct. They are no different from us humans. They might even be humans. Guardians are chosen by a deity. This process is not known but speculations by scholars of previous generations show it originated again, from the Church of Trinity."

"What? The Church of Trinity?"

"Indeed. Goddess Trinity. Thought to be responsible for many things like playing a part in making this universe and creating magic. A timeless immortal goddess with beauty so radiant, no man would resist her allure. With power so great, no being would dare defy. With knowledge so vast it there would not be enough paper in this planet to write upon everything. No one knows how the legends of a Goddess Trinity originated or whether she even exists but to have an organisation so vast it could rival the empire is not an east feat." James was a scholar, naturally, he was drawn to mystery.
