"Marry me?"
The words rang out in Rica's ears like bombs exploding outwards.
These two words were so short yet held so many emotions within them.
They were a sign of love, of affection, of trust, of wanting to stay together for a lifetime to come.
Rica didn't know how to respond.
On one hand, she loved Jamie, yes she had accepted this fact.
However, on the other, to her, Belle was family.
She didn't want to lose either of them, she wanted both, sure it seemed greedy but losing one for the favour of the other was something she didn't want.
"Experience life for its moments! Live through your first love!"
Belle's words rang out within her mind.
From start to end, Belle had completely given her support for their relationship.
Rica knew this, yet...she was still a little unwilling.
"Jamie...I...my teacher..." Rica muttered to Jamie.
"Miss Trinity had given me her blessing. Rica, give me this chance. I will do anything."
Rica had no other retorts.
Belle had given her blessing, there was no way out, both she and Belle were willing.
Smiling with tears in her eyes, Rica looked down at the kneeling Jamie.
"If you truly love me then..."
"I do."
Jamie's mind spun and whirred, he suddenly felt dizzy.
"Say it again." Jamie said to Rica, his eyes wide in shock and apparent happiness.
"I do." Rica said with a tearful smile.
"She loves me...she loves me...she truly does!" Jamie stood up, hugging Rica, kissing her deeply, passionately, ignoring the world.
All around them, clapping exploded forth from the guests, such a heartfelt scene of two youngsters, one would have to be a very cynical and narcissistic character to not feel anything.
Parting from their kiss, Jamie took Rica's left hand and slid a small diamond ring onto it.
It was something he'd bought with his own hard work, slaving away for months to get.
"With this, you're mine and I, yours." Jamie whispered in Rica's ears.
"I'm yours..." Rica whispered back, holding Jamie's waist and pulling Jamie into another kiss, taking the lead.
Cheers and claps resounded through the restaurant.
It was an unforgettable night.
A night for the ages.
And for once, there was no bloodshed, no death, no killing.
Just pure, unfiltered, unrefined love between two youths.
A match blessed by the cupid, made in heaven.
-----
Greenlit Park.
They had just gotten out of the restaurant.
Walking in a park, hand in hand.
Enjoying the quiet tranquil for a change.
Finding a bench, they sat down in each other's embrace.
"You know, sometimes, I feel like i'm the luckiest girl in the world..." Rica says.
