"Go! Chestnut!" Gracie cried out,"[Vorpal Strikes]!"

"Yes master!"

"Gah! She's too strong!"

"Bastard! We'll get our revenge!"

Two strikes with her sword took two of her victims down.

The last one was struck down mercilessly by Chestnut.

Landing gracefully after delivering the decisive strikes, Gracie moved her hair back to behind her ear.

"Nice job Chestnut!" Gracie praised, caressing the manticore's mane.

"We're good for today I guess...killed a few thousand or so eh?"

"If my memory serves me right, the exact amount should be three thousand, two hundred and thirty two, master."

"No need to be so exact. Well anyway, how much do you think we earned?"

The arena was a place not just to increase ranking, but a place where one could obtain glory points.

One starts out with one point and will gain glory points of a killed person.

These glory points could then be traded in line with products in real life via the three schools.

It could be used to purchase potions that aid in blood recovery, mana recovery, to buy raw materials for creating armour and weapons which acted like a weaker pseudo divine armament.

"Severance from [Arena]!" Gracie called out.

White light filled her vision and soon, she found herself in her own body again, Chestnut next to her.

The clerk who was responsible for handling the glory point system handed Gracie her card with a trembling hand, as if he were standing next to a demon.

"M-miss! Your card! A total of fifty thousand glory p-points!"

Gracie nodded and took the card, not realising what she had just received.

"I think we got a lot! I'll treat you to some good food today Chestnut! Whatddaya want~?" Gracie hummed a joyful tune as they walked down the 'Glory Market', a place one could use glory points.

"I would like dragon meat!" The manticore replied without hesitation.

Gracie almost fell over,"Ah...dragon meat is not something we can obtain here...ah how about something else? Only teacher is strong enough to get dragon meat."

The manticore nodded in understand, though it seemed to have a depressed aura around it.

"Can I have honey roasted steak then, master?" The manticore asked.

"Sure!"

Walking up to the store, Gracie ordered a takeaway steak for Chestnut and a few fried chicken drumsticks for herself for dinner.

After leaving the shop, they walked down the glory road and came across a building that had quite a crowd.

"Interested?" A voice came from her side.
