Fairies' Abode

The festival had ended with a bang.

Three days had passed in the blink of an eye.

After Belle had made her full recovery, she had collected the gifts of the fairies and dwarves and had given them a card as a failsafe should something happen.

Then, she and Rica left the Fairies' Abode.

Though the times spent there was short and filled with mostly melancholy, both of them felt refreshed, feeling energetic, looking forward to future prospects.

Outside the Fairies' Abode.

"Well, this is it...Teacher, I'll be going on my way then..." Rica said, ending the silence.

"Nn, don't think about me too much...not that you can't." Belle winked, though she was a woman, she still had been acting as a man for several million years now.

Laughing, Rica pulled Belle into a hug for one last time before they went their own separate ways.

"Two years huh? We'll be gone for two years. After spending so much time with my beloved disciple, I feel unwilling to let go..." Belle muttered.

"I feel the same."

"Well let us depart then...we'll see each other in two years at Coastal Sea Village. See you then..." Belle said softly, hugging Rica once again.

"See you then..." Rica replied.

Before long, the two were headed their separate ways, Rica was heading towards Oak Plains to join up with fellow adventurers with the A ranked card Belle had bestowed onto her while Belle herself was headed to the Costal Sea area to unwind and relax.

Clear Carp River

Belle had arrived in Clear Carp River after hours of trekking.

Dressed in simple garbs, cotton shirt and pants and a hood to cover her face. Belle walked towards the river to fish.

Taking out a normal fishing rod, Belle had started to fish.

"Ey young man, first time coming here?" A deep, joyful voice came from Belle's side.

"..."

"Young people these days eh? All of them rushing to get stronger. For what! I say, might as well make the best of it and fish the days away! You, young man, have got the right idea in mind! Leave the fighting to the big names! Fighting accumulated enemies! You won't have a single day of peace! Fishing on the other hand, is peaceful, relaxing and a great way to support your family without risking your life out on the frontline, dying for those cities and countries!" The old man rambled on and on.

"Oh, by the way young lad, I forgot to introduce myself! Name's Grayson. Grayson Fulcher. Yours?"

"..." Belle kept silent, concentrating on fishing.

"Eh, suit yourself, listening to me ramble is good enough for me. Anyways as I was sayi-oh? You've caught a fish! It's a big one! Crimson Blood Carp! Damn kid, you're a lucky one! This one sells for at least a few hundred gold coins per kilogram! This one looks to be about ten kilos (short for kilogram)! Bah! Beginner's luck is always the best! This alone will keep you in business for years considering we commoners only spend five or so gold coins for daily necessities."

Casting the rod into the river again, Belle fished silently, listening to Grayson rant on and on about his problems and random topics.

Soon, Belle felt another tug on her line.
