The competition started without any problems.
Except for Belle's inner mind.
It was a catastrophic sight.
Each day, Belle would get increasingly agitated, her mind near to snapping under the colossal pressure that nearly broke her.
Today was different.
"Hmph. You still are persistent. I guess that's a trait I like about myself but it's annoying now. Okay. No more chances. Since you like defying me so much, let me put you in a tough spot." Her reflection grinned sadistically.
Belle was unsure of what she meant, but to her, this grassy plain that had once seemed peaceful became an apocalyptic wasteland where monsters lurked, every step could end up being her last before she slipped silently into the term people would described as 'insane'.
White.
A pastel white ceiling was all that Belle could see when she woke up.
Her bed had become a cold hard wooden floor.
"Where?...Ah!" Belle turned to see several people lying on the floor beside her.
The only catch was...
They were all dead.
The floor was literally dyed red.
Belle's vision blurred,"What...No..."
She look down to her hands.
Bloodied.
Not hers.
Beside her, a knife.
"No...Nononononononononononononononononononono!" Belle screamed hysterically, sobbing.
Belle finally came to know the true devil within her.
Though she cried on the outside, internally...She felt good.
Seeing so much blood surrounding her, Belle snapped.
"Ooh! Dead people! My favourite!" Belle's personality flipped flopped,"Ngh! No!"
"AHAHAHA! So much blood for me! I NEEEEEED MORE!" Belle giggled manically.
"NO! I'm...Not...EVIL!" Belle wrested back control of herself, but she felt powerless.
The looming sense of dread hung over her.
She had a limited time before she would lose control.
It wasn't much but she had to make do.
If she couldn't restrain herself, she would force others to.
She ran.
Belle found herself outside.
She called the only person that she could confide in.
Ring...
Ring...
"Belle? What are you calling for?" A sleepy Sebastian answered.
"Please Sebastian...I'm...I'm scared..." Belle whispered as she bawled.
Sebastian grew concerned,"Belle? What's wrong? Where are you?"
"I...I need to be locked up..." Belle muttered.
"Locked up?! Belle you're not making any sense! What's going on?!" Sebastian yelled, deeply concerned for Belle.
"I-I don't know..." Belle whimpered.
She heard a deep breath over the phone,"Okay. Calm down. Can you tell me any landmarks?..."
