The four people sat in a circle around a blazing fire, chatting as they enjoyed the flesh of the several monsters they had killed earlier today.

"Man, this panther meat is de-licious!"

"Try the snake we killed! It's tender and goes well with the soy sauce! It's the best!"

"No! The crimson tiger meat is the best! Haven't you heard? Eating it's flesh will make you look younger!"

"Clouded Leapord!"

"Green Grass Snake!"

"Crimson Tiger!"

"What about you Rica?"

Rica had sat quietly eating, thinking about the times she spent with her old teacher, out in the woods, camping.

Eating round a campfire, hunting for food daily.

"Rica? Rica! Ello? Anybody there?" Rica woke from her reverie, a hand waving before her eyes.

"Uh-yes?" She asked.

"We were asking you which meat you preferred, the panther, the snake, or the tiger?"

"Uh...they're all good?..."

"No! You must pick! Rics! C'mon! The panther meat is the best right?"

"Well, if I had to pick, it would be the tiger meat..." Rica answered.

"Hah! You fellers see! The tiger meat is the best! Women's intuition!" Eleanor shouted, proudly, hugging Rica while the two guys grumbled.

Rica giggled at the sight,"Oh come on you guys, it's just a meat preference!"

Jamie stuck his nose high in the air and said haughtily,"It's not just a meat preference. It's the meat preference my dear Rics."

Then, a low, grinding sound came and suddenly, an arrow came out of nowhere, hitting Jamie in the side.

A creepy, ominous, high pitched laughter, resounded throughout the forest, making everyone's heads hurt.

Then, Jamie collapsed on the ground out of the blue.

"Jamie? Jamie!" Rica screamed, running towards him.

Seeing the arrow, Rica plucked it out from Jamie's side, and saw a green liquid.

Eleanor, upon seeing the liquid, had a grim expression.

"Poison."

"I can fu*king see that!" Rica shouted, panicking.

"Jamie's good as dead, Rica, this isn't just any regular poison. This is the saliva of an Emperor Snake. It's one of the most painful and torturous poisons there are. Jamie's good as dead. One hour and he'll experience total organ failure. There is no cure. At least not in this world." Owens said, comforting Rica, tears welling in his eyes.

"Just embrace it Rica, we've been together for so long, now one of us was bound to die..." Eleanor said, crying

"No...no...not again...I don't want to lose another...why did it have to be Jamie?..." Rica mumbled to herself, crying.

Over the past year, she had gotten close to these three people, they were the closest to her, only second to Belle and Dullahan.

That's when she remembered, Belle had given her.

[Far Communication] like it's name suggested, it allowed for communication between two parties over a long distance so long as both sides had the skill.
