Twelve Years Later.
Belle's POV
This is it.
The final frontier.
The hardest challenge of all.
Writing a book to comfort a preteen girl.
That's right, I, Belle Trinity, officially have a daughter that's turning twelve in a matter of months.
Well, we aren't originally related by blood but with a little tweaking from me, she became ours after her parents abandoned her on our doorstep.
Though she technically isn't ours, I treat her like my own, as does Gracie.
She's been getting into books lately, fantasy ones, of dragons and kings and with her birthday coming up, I decided I'd write a book for her.
"Hm...What to write...What to write...Hum..." I thought to myself, mumbling.
"Hey hon, whatcha up to?" I hear Gracie call out.
"Nothing much, just thinking of writing a book as a present for Vivian. I can't think of anything though." I replied.
"What about a story from back when we were fighting?" Gracie suggested.
My eyes lit up stars in the night sky as I attempted to grab Gracie's shoulders soon after realising that I'm way too short,"T-that's it! A book about your adventure! Your quest to protect the peace and balance in the world! What should we call it? Gracie's Grand Journey?"
"Ugh. No. Try The Amazing Grace-ie."
"That doesn't make sense though. It's just a really bad pun." I replied with a deadpan look,"What about...The Road to Immortality?"
"I never strived for immortality babe. I only wanted y~ou." Gracie replies, planting a small kiss on my nose like I'm some sort of little kid as her fingers creepily encircle my waist like a dragon coiling around a larger prey.
I can't say I don't like it though.
"O-okay! Enough bothering the busy woman already! Go fetch Vivian!" I shouted, pulling away before falling down the rabbit hole known as pleasure.
"Fine, fine. I'll stop messing with you. Good luck with the book babe!" Gracie yells as she walks out the door.
Oh yeah, we bought our own house.
It's nothing much, just an average house for an average person.
Except it isn't.
If someone could use a portal here, they would find that this place lead to a very, very important place.
The Destiny Bell.
The largest trading centre run entirely by demigods for demigods.
It's my personal shop and my home.
But we wanted Vivian to lead a normal life, until she turns 14 or so.
But hey, you never know, she might have some weird kink for romanticising the medieval stuff, i'm not judging.
Right.
Back to the book.
What should I call it?
It'll be about my adventures with Gracie and her becoming a goddess alongside me.
Hum, that's pretty good.
It'll be derived from the myths and mystique that surrounds Gracie and I.
What about...Legend of the Immortal?
Well immortals but I was already one so just singular.
Right then.
Let's get on with it.
"Let's hope Vivian likes it." I sigh as I pick up my pen,"A thousand years ago..."
Not yet. It was quite a bad idea on my part to end it so roughly. I don't think I'm ready to let this story go yet. So, I'll be taking back that 'completed' mark and continuing this story. I think my wanting to end it was impulsive. But after a few days of break, I've made this decision. The story will continue! I hope you'll continue reading and hopefully, enjoy it! Sorry for the short chapter, the next few will come soon!
