Fort Galdence.
"Morning..." Mia said groggily.
"Morning sweetheart. Mm..." Joel answered in a rough voice, giving her a light peck on the cheeks.
"Mm..."
"Did you rest well?"
"I couldn't sleep last night, remember? You kept me up all~ night." Mia giggled softly,"C'mon, we have to get up. The others are waiting for us."
"They can wait."
"Nope! Let's go sleepyhead!" Mia giggled as she jumped out from under her sheets.
"Fine, fine." Joel grumbled as he was reluctantly pulled by Mia from his comfortable spot.
------
"Fu*king hell. Why do we have to get up so early?" Ryan grumbled.
"I barely got any sleep last night..." Madeline mumbled.
"Those two upstairs...The girl can scream." Lucas said, trying to form an image to match the sounds he heard.
"No kidding, I went to the kitchen and still could hear 'em." May said, raising both her hands.
"What the hell! He goes and gets himself teleported and gets awesome superpowers and sweet hot girl and we're stuck here with nothing? I call bullshit!" Jason yelled angrily, his voice muffled by the pillow.
"Are you pissed about him being better than you?" Ryan asked.
"No! I'm pissed about him acting so edgy! He comes back like 'oh don't mess with me f*ckface or I'll blow your guts out dur durr dee durr' it's freaking annoying! I mean we tried looking for him and he pays us back how? By ignoring us and f*cking his Girlfriend for the entire night while we try to sleep through it! Gah!" Jason shouted, obviously not happy about quite a few things.
"Look. Drop it alright? We're all supposed to work together." May stated.
"Oh haha. Work together? Get it through your thick, Malay ethics about forgive and forget because I can't! Just cause your ethics say we should forgive doesn't mean they're right!" Jason shouted.
"Hey! Don't bring my family's morals into this! I'm just trying to help okay?" May raised her voice.
"Well you're not helping!"
"Guys! Guys! Guys! Simmer down alright? Joel might be a stuck-up piece of shit but do keep one thing in your mind. He saved us. God knows how many would die if he hadn't come."
"Hah! He didn't come here by his own accord!" Jason shouted.
"What?" Lucas asked, uncertain what Jason meant.
"I was eavesdropping on the three ' mmanders yesterday! He came on Gracie's order!"
"So...He didn't come because he wanted to?"
"Hah! That heartless bastard wouldn't come even if we forced him to! It's obvious he had to follow Gracie's orders for some reason!"
Suddenly, just as things were getting heated, multiple explosions were heard outside.
"COWARD WHO KILLS WEAKER FOES. WE, THE THREE KINGS OF THE FREEDOM ARMY DEMAND ANSWERS! COME OUT NOW!" Three voices boomed loudly, sounding like angry spirits hoping to avenge the victims of a massacre.
"You three call me a coward when you don't even dare face me one on one? You've decided to face me, three against one. And that army of a hundred million behind you? Isn't that your elite corps? Wow. And they say I'm the coward." Joel snorted sarcastically.
