On the way back to the kitchen after passing Arceus his food, Gracie came across an old lady.

She had her hair tied in a small bun, thick glasses on her face.

"Morning dearie! It truly is a wonderful day today isn't it?" She spoke.

"Yeah." Gracie replied curtly.

"My name's Erica. Pleased to meet you..."

"Gracie. Gracie Valencia."

"Gracie! What a lovely name." Erica said.

"...I'm sorry but i'm a tad busy...I'll be on my way now..." Gracie had just overtaken Erica when she began to speak.

"Wait. What if I told you if I could let you see her?"

Gracie froze, her body turning stiff at Erica's words,"W-what did you s-say?" She stammered unsteadily, her head in a whirl as she scrambled for control over her body.

"That's right dearie! What if I told you I could let you see her right now?" That joyful, carefree voice came once again, this time sounding more sinister.

"W-who?" Gracie whispered loudly.

"Oh don't be stupid! You know who! A certain crush of yours?" Erica mused.

The tray in her hand clattered to the floor as Gracie turned to Erica with eyes that screamed desperation.

"What...What do you want?" Gracie asked.

Erica's once happy smile suddenly looked more malicious, more...sinister looking.

"Well...It's quite simple really. You just have to kill...your friends..." Erica whispered the last part in Gracie's ear.

"Huh? What?" Gracie replied in a daze over Erica's words.

"Like I said dearie!" Erica giggled away,"Kill your friends...And you'll get to see her!"

Gracie staggered back unsteadily, holding the wall for support as she stared at Erica like she'd seen a monster,"Y-you're mad." Gracie laughed unsteadily,"Yeah. You're mad!" Gracie giggled uncontrollably as she sank to the floor.

Her mind was in total overdrive as she mumbled incoherently, her eyes widening to the extreme.

All this time, Gracie had pent up her frustrations and   sorrow, the last time she had been releasing all her pain was back in Evergreen City at the tavern.

Erica's expression remained impassive though her eyes expressed worry.

She stood there dumbly, unable to make out what had transpired.

Gracie lied on the floor, laughing manically as her body shuddered and shook, bending and twisting in impossible positions, her eyes bloodshot.

"Oh...What..." Erica was at a loss when Elenoa appeared, rushing towards the two.

"By the goddess! What in the blazes have you done Erica! Y-you've driven her mad!" Elenoa shouted, propping the writhing Gracie on the wall.

Erica was still confused,"W-what? H-how? W-we were just talking moments ago!" She defended herself.

Then, Gracie spoke up.

"Hey...Why? Hey why? Why must Belle leave me? Was I bad? Was I a bad student? Was I so useless? Did she hate me so much? Why did she desert me? Hey! Hey! You know her right? Tell me! Tell me!" Gracie screamed, grabbing her hair.

Her hands then moved to her arms as she scratched them till blood started to flow out freely.

"For f*ck's sake, get the rest here Erica. You better hope she makes it." Elenoa said as she casted recovery magic on Gracie.
