Jean walked in with Bell into the room.

"So Jean, how is everything going along?" Bell asked casually.

"Sir, everything is going fine. We have been doing very well and very soon, our Adventurer's Guild Branch will be partnering with Longevity City for the annual [Genius Ring] tournament. It's a tournament for youths not associated with clans, schools or guilds to join, letting the several guilds, clans and schools find students or members to recruit and also to find geniuses among the crowd and to recruit them!"

"Sounds good, well, I have been looking out for a travel partner and disciple so this should be interesting. Jean, send out word that I am looking for a disciple and the one of the top three will be chosen to be my disciple should they wish to. What's the current prize?"

"Sir, the current prize is a set of uncommon grade armour and a rare grade weapon of the winner's choice."

"Up the prize to rare armour and unique weapon. I'll pay."

"Yes sir. Is there anything else Sir would like?" Jean asked submissively.

"Save me a seat, I'll be one of the judges."

"Yes sir."

-----

By now, news of the [Monarch God] wanting to recruit a disciple had been spread far and wide.

Many people were clamouring to get into the [Monarch God]'s good graces, knowing that if they did, whatever they had ever wished for would be given.

Many people were gulping down their saliva at the thought of living such a luxurious life, one which only nobles could dream of and kings could only
gawk at.

The feeling of people giving infinite respect and holding power over everyone was one many wished for.

The price of the tickets skyrocketed, as thousands of prime disciples were sent to the tournament, all eager to meet the [Monarch God].

Tournament Day.

Thousands of people sat around the colosseum, waiting for the tournament to start.

Then, a golden table appeared, a feeling of elegance emitted from it.

Behind the tables were three seats, all gold with fur cushions.

Then, two men appeared, taking their seats on the chairs.

The announcer for the tourney shouted,"May I present to everyone, the Overseer of the Adventurer's Guild and the King of Longevity City!"

Everyone stood up and bowed before clapping and cheering.

The two men stood up and bowed before taking their seats once more.

Many people were confused.

There was obviously one more seat left.

People easy put two and two together and could tell the seat was reserved for the [Monarch God].

But where was he?

The seat was there but the person was missing.

Jean walked up to the announcer and whispered something into his hear before walking back.
